New (Stupid) Salvage Glitch

Came across this Saturday, but when my group was climbing SSR, we had two different instances where one of us would place a cell in our bazaar for 1 gil, and the linkpearl icon next to the name would not change to the bazaar bag icon. In addition, trying to /c the person would show the bazaar option unavailable.

Both times, each person took the item down, put it back up in the bazaar for 1 gil, and it worked.

I didn't bother to test the limits of it, but also over the weekend, I was running to a skillup party in Kuftal, placed my elemental staves in bazaar for 1 million gil each, and got the bazaar icon to show up with no hesitation (West Altepa I think).

I did log a call with a GM, but forgot about it after the run and logged off, so I never actually reported the details.

I was curious if anyone else has seen this in the "troublesome" zones (Salvage, Nyzul, Sandworm). I can't fathom any sort of player benefit from this, but it's worth noting.

Just a delay issue. Place it up for a specific price, then wait about 2 seconds before closing out your menu, will work next time.

Happens all the time when you put things in your bazaar quickly. I don't think it's limited to Salvage, that's just where the most "speed-bazaaring" happens.

So if you place the item, then back out super quick (or just quicly in a lagged area), it'll glitch the bazaar?

It's not specific to Salvage, it happens everywhere. Just don't spam escape to get out of your bazaar after pricing an item (aka wait a few seconds) or else it might glitch.

Happens a lot of time to me. I usually need to either set the price twice, or just do it a bit slower to fix the problem.

there are times a Ranged fomor will miss his bolt on me, and then i get random Bio or Poison effects

After you set the price, wait for it to say "1G" before you exit out of your set bazaar screen. As others have said, it's an issue with closing the screen too quickly. Seen it happen numerous times in Salvage.

When it happen, i just change the price to "2 gil" and it works. More money for me.

It's annoying, but like people said above, waiting 1-2 sec after setting up the price works.

No idea on the random bio and poison stuff.

But the ranged attack from RNG fomor is really a ranged attack, not a JA that fire instantly and definitely take a shadow from you. You can stun it as well.

He's joking, pretty much any Fomor that does ranged attacks has the ability to miss (unlike any other mob that does ranged attack, which always hit) and its already very known that some mobs (Fomor in particular) can cast spells on different targets besides their current /assist.

no, i've definitely seen what hes talking about, shit, even when the only mob we had on us was a fomor ranger and a bolt missed, i was afflicted with bio, working as intended maybe

Try having everyone put 1 item you're not using in for 999,999,999 then the game won't need to process the "creating" of the bazaar? Just a thought.
