So...logging out was their strategy ? lol, but they just patched it in Salvage I thought ? >_>; It's still funny they linked Alla on the POL site, half those retards couldn't tell their ass from a hole in the ground, let alone beat PW. Eh, I'm still waiting for the "Absolute Virtue Defeated! Players realize not fighting it is the key to victory!" D:
I logged hate during Kirin and he did Astral FLow, I'm I going to get banned?!
Damn I don't know what was more exciting, Valentiones day announcement or this
it's not on the jp site ; ;
http://www.playonline.com/ff11/index.shtml
the jps don't know ; ;
It's because we're dirty gaijins who beat them at their own game wwwwwwwww.
Seriously though, I'm not shocked in the least bit they don't care nor bothered to put it in the 'news'
I find it very curious it's neither on the Japanese or EU sites... unless it means it's the first NA kill, and...
Have to agree...![]()
This = Square Enix US marketing move?
They never did stuff like that, before, either... just doesn't sound right.
EDIT: ah,thye do say "first time ever"... then again it wouldn't be the first time that means "first time in this country"...
This just in:
Square-Enix doesn't hate their players
They just hate Blue Gartr.
That is all.
Am I missing something? How exactly is loggin OUT is an IN-game strategy? Does anyone else see the irony of "leaving" the game in order to beat the enemy? Either SE hinting at something or this is a big Zen joke.
I imagine they were doing it for marketing as people getting sick from the other fight made mainstream news.
Guess the Alla + otherwiki joining has been completed.
Please, anyone who knows about the human physiology can figure out why they began feeling dizzy and nauseous.. It's called an adrenaline crash. It would have happened whether they won or lost for being on an adrenaline rush for that long. It just happens when you're too anxious for too long. It wasn't the fight being so long that caused it, it was the players, being so obsessive, getting way higher strung about it than they should have.
Its not the designed strategy.
SE didn't intend for people to log out, they intended on them getting wiped out, and having fresh replacements step in, replacements made of server team ups. Hailing back to "SE: we don't want people to do everything in one linkshell, we want players to culturally join together to tackle events in many shells."
I wonder why SE wouldn't want to link to a thread like this
Needs to be bold, scrolling, 9001 point font, and flashing.
I seriously doubt it was the intended way to kill, but it was a legitimate kill nonetheless. My guess is there is some obscure way to skip some, but not all forms. Possibly the hint on which forms cannot be skipped is in the lootpool.
