Did you know that Australia is not much different from Nazi Germany, in that they all hate everything?

    Smuggling animals.

That's a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge no no here. They're big on protecting ecosytems (They learned their lessons from the cane toad incidents in the 30s), and life from introduced diseases here, animals (especially ones that fly and breed) are big culprits of them.

I once had a friend who smuggled a Savannah Monitor on a plane to bring it from Arizona to Montana. He put it in the fridge so it'd get all cold and be really docile, and then stuck it in his sleeve. The lizard was about 2 ft long at that point, so the tip of the tail poked out of his jacket. He made it through ok though, unlike this dude.

You're talking those birds that flock in extremely large groups and are nearly literal shit storms, yeah?

If I recall dingos are another animal introduced that bit them in the ass.

EDIT: Nvm, was thinking of the red fox.

The, now feral, felines people used to own as pets is something else I believe that is
currently causing them troubles over there.

At first I thought this was going to be about "Budgie Smugglers".

Do you all know what Budgie Smugglers are? It is Australian slang for Speedos. Do you know what a budgie is?

Was probably posted somewhere else, but Australia is entertaining...when you're not living there.

The Arcade: Australia to ban World of Warcraft, other MMO's?

Althought, i can't really make fun of them because Québec isn't much better.
