You would think that with a level 80 char (and I assume that you do with your talk on another thread) you would have grasped some basic knowledge of the game.

played a mage solo to 70 in 2007, and restarted recently, 46 pally, so no, I don't know much about arena, was never interested enough to look into it

I don't really twink but whenever I level a character I always stop at 19 and 29 for a bit and just WSG/AB it up....

it's kinda fun to me to just take a break from the xp grind. I typically level classes that can heal so PVP at those levels are a lot of fun since no one really heals. Nothin like being the annoying shit in the BG

is the only twink i've ever really gotten into, I have a decked out 29 druid with like 3k hp in bear form, but it's boring as hell, all it can do is basically stay alive while annoying the shit out of people (it's impossible to stop me with flag in wsg, but what fun is that)

I love playing the mage, although i haven't done anything beyond briefly log on since like sometime during season 2, there were a whole bunch of us that had 39's, largely people from horde side that just wanted to play with us.


But yeah, I spec full fire, and it's pretty intense. I haven't had a chance to play since the blastwave knockback, I'm sure that actually takes a little away from what I enjoyed about it so much. Basically, if a rogue reaches me, I'm dead. 2k hp and like 8% armor reduction gives me literally just a couple of swings to survive-- if they get a sinister strike off I'm dead pretty much instantly. Meanwhile the extent of my instants is pretty much fire blast, cone of cold, and blast wave, which altogether add up to maybe 30% of a typical twink's health.

Essentially, playing a healer in 80 bg's is no different than playing a twink these days, except that as a healer you can't faceroll right back at em and kill them in a few gcd's. What makes the mage fun is that I still can't faceroll back at em... but I can clown the living shit out of em through raw skill and understanding of the game. Which is rather amusing considering how much of the twink rogue/hunter population tries to argue that they twink because it puts everyone on the same level and tests real skill.


Fuck 300+ sp twink locks though, seriously.


Oh, and people definitely queue for arenas constantly on twinks, arenas pop just as fast as bg's.


And, level 70 rated arena is back in game now. Not very many people so the top 10 guys are like 1800ish, but yeah it's still going on.

twinking sucks because in my experience all the 19 29 brackets are all twinks so it's just like a normal 19 29 bracket but higher scaled.

Twinking is fun if you have the cash. I did a 39 mage of my mates when i had his account and it was class. Epic staff, staff of jordan i think with +40 spell power. I was forst spec so couldnt exactly one hit people but i sure did rape a large amoutn of people in bgs.

Realisticly though.

End game raiding > end game pvp > twinking

Only do it if you're finding yourself abusing the other 2 and want a rest.
