i think this is worthy of amazing, although its a little misleading if you dont really look at everything.

only 7 synths and u went 2/7 its easy to hit 0/7 not to mention the fact that there could have been more lost mantles.
pretty ballsy way to craft, i like it

I am 0/I hate you and your luck. My next batch of mantle's I'm going to try desynthing them. I don't have anything to lose anymore because I'll need to hq 4 in a row to break even, lol.

How did you lose a cerberus mantle in a synth? I thought you only lost materials. I never craft so was just wondering.

Decided to desynth this time. had 10 hides, HQ'd 2 and broke 1. Desynthed 7, got 6 hides back, HQ'd 2 of those, broke the rest either desynthing or resynthing :D

one for myself, 3 to sell :D first HQ's worth anything with leathercraft!

Some of us have went well beyond many months without a tier 0 hq, just shut up.

Zouri and Astrael are the reason people like me end up being emo about being a high level crafter for almost 4 years and never having that mindset/luck.

Hold out, it'll happen eventually, as I posted previously, I was in the exact same boat, 3 years 100 leather, 0/46 dusk gloves, 0/25 dusk feet, 0/24 cerb mantles. My lucky break came today, turns out FFXI crafting isn't totally the monetary blackhole I had always assumed it was. You stick enough into it, eventually it'll reward you back.

first off, i am a girl. Secondly, my last tier 0 hq was on an a gold thread, so that really doesnt count. My crafting record is pathetic to say the least, especially considering i count penance slops as an "amazing" hq. I also do a TON of tier 0 synths, i'm just unlucky when it comes to big synths. So dont be jealous of anything i have, unless you break every other synth you do, chances are you're better off than i am. As for the cerb. +1 x4 ... i hate you!
seriously though, the people desynthing the mantles, is the hide the nq or hq of it? ive desynthed other mantles for the nq using the tanners ring, but i wouldnt want to use it if the hide is the hq of the desynth.
