Amazing Crafts 4: My Cerb+1 is better than your Cerb+1 (and yours... and yours too)

Yeah, I've been stingy to give up my DS ingots to have my friend synth since I'm about to ding into DS Nodowas or whatever soon on Smithing, but I have some horns rotting on a mule so I'm going to give another round at it soon.

This is how I made profit on desynthing from smithing.

Beadeaux and kill old quad. The drop rate on Quad helms are like water. T3 being DS ingot.

Edit: T1 iron ingot T2 steel ingot. If you have alchemy leveled kill the slimes and you can get slime oils / dodge earrings for extra pocket money. A few nm's pop there too if you go out of your way to get them to pop.

For a while I farmed my smithing mats from there and sold the extra to pocket for myself on other gear.

After a while I decided to take my smithing to 78, around 77 I started to farm antica in Eastern Altepa Desert around the upside down T at H-8. Kill only paladin/warrior mobs since they drop the pauldrons. T1-3 is a DS ingot T0 a few bronze ingots.

Drop rate isn't the greatest, but when I know I am going to be afk on and off a while I go there, kill a few, come back and repeat. Desynth out in the field if my skill was high enough or just go back into town once inventory was full.

I always farmed with TH3, but if you got TH4 I am sure you could see a lot better drops than me. Good luck with the desynthing.

I've always watched guns even before I started bothering,Callisto is right, one was jumped.The sales on our AH even shows it,5 listed AND sold on AH(EVER).
June 8th 2009 was our very first Auction Sale,lol.
I personally don't agree about the lack of demand, Alot of Corsairs for the longest time stated"Martial Gun or you suck at COR lolz."

Could have been just our server though, Easier to take requests than bother trying to sell one that will be undercut by someone else because ~1,000,000G is too much for someone who doesn't use it often.

I can spend an hour or two in Beadeaux and walk out with 8-10 Darksteel Ingots and close to 100k in other mats. Not a great profit, but reliable at least.

Factoring in the opportunity cost, there are definitely better things you can do.

And grats on the two -1 Berks. I'm not sure what's more amazing: making two -1's in 41 synths or actually finding 50 Southern Pearls. I spent like a week killing Sea Hog on an alt for 18 synths.

Problem is I would be too tempted to keep one pair lol I rather sell, level mule and sign myself.

Actually I sat my character in SSG for 7 days straight and farmed all 50.

That was my main income whether I was afk and/or farming.
