App like yarnball but for debuffs

Is there a plugin or add developed that tells you when stuff wears off like debuffs on BRD or RDM?

You mean like Slow and Para?

Pretty sure that's a no as I don't think there's a way for that to be calculated. Server side, maybe, etc. etc.

Check the BLM and RDM Spellcast templates - some of them have a way to /echo when sleeps are going to wear off. You can modify the spell and time to your own liking for whatever. use /p /s /echo or anything.

    btw...- can GMs see /echo?

Yes, but now you are assuming the script knows how many merits you have. Just means a one size fits all script isn't going to work.

Can you even access your merit levels without having the menu up? Is that information even stored locally all the time? I don't honestly know.

Yes, but if it's scripted like in spellcast, you're able to manually change it. It's not like your merit level changes often.

    That's very true.

the problem with the spell cast template is that when you hit the macro but don't cast it still counts and clogs up your window with spam.

right now I just use a stop watch when its important I keep dot up but i remember someone saying you can make recast count negative a while ago

Recast timers going negative would be perfect; alternatively, you can just look at your timestamp and keep track of when you casted your bio/poisons or elegy/slows. Just add 2min to bio/poisons, and 3min to elegy/slows.

Not like you need to be able to begin casting the spell before it wears off. Timestamp gives you a good sense of when the spell's going to wear and when you need to be ready with the recast.

But if anyone knows a link to somekind of plug-in that allows for customizable negative timers on recast it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I don't think it'd be hard to pop-up a little black box with a 3/2min timer popping up for slows/DoTs.
