The internet is filled with intractable, moot arguments where everyone and no one is right. The only thing that cannot be argued (rationally, anyway) is the fact that PW was killed and the group who killed it did particular things to do it.

Granted, I didn't come right out and say it, because I thought it was obvious; my point was that the retard QQer should not try and get SE to enforce the spirit of the ToS, but rather, he should get them to change the game mechanics.

It was weird how one of the JP shells that fought it had a rdm/drk that was stunning spike flail 100% of the time, but that was about it. The rest of us with skill simply ate our spike flails, recovered, and went on to win anyway. I don't remember anyone bitching about the overalls strategy to beat it with, besides the blms who wanted the title.

People have no right to be pissed at a broken, unkillable mob finally dying. It's been repeatedly pointed out that 'in game mechanics' are bullshit. On hp% triggered Rape-gas can only be anticipated if you have windower telling you the mob's health%. Without it, people would still be wiping to Bahamut v2. No existing in-game mechanic lets you recover or prevent 9 simultaneous Astral Flows, and if there's some rubik's cube of emotes and ra/ex consumables that stops it nobody wants to figure it out because it's not fun.

If that windower plug-in is "necessary" then why hasn't SE added that functionality into the game client? I mean, how do JP players defeat The Wyrmking Descends?

Although i do agree im some terms as to they WAY they killed it was not totally normal and it was not killed as SE had intended to do it, you have a VERY LARGE amount of sand in your vagina.

By dying a lot. The Reraise Hairpin is probably the best thing to happen to .jp endgame.

And are you just trying to nitpick a small example of what I'm talking about because you're looking for a fight, or because you'd rather do that than address the larger problem of SE making game mechanics that you either have to be psychic to combat or push the limits of the ToS to work around?

SE posted their win instead of banning the LS. That should be enough to tell you that logging out during battle isn't an exploit.

I'm more of the opinion that they won't consider it an exploit and ban people because that would be pretty silly. "Hey, great job on killing that boss.... Oh wait, you're banned for "cheating."" Then they again are in the news for the same 18 hour boss that got them bad publicity to begin with. "SE bans players for killing boss that originally made people sick after fighting it for 18 hours straight."

Might as well shut down their servers in that case.

Cannonball ignores double weakness, I doubt that's intended. It's not particularly shady either, but a lot moreso than /logout
