According to Sports Illustrated, A-Rod tested positive for two different anabolic steroids in 2003, which was a year when a positive test did not result in punishment by MLB

Best pure hitters (Power and Average, Griffey wasn't known for hitting for high average) would be Manny & Big Frank IMO

I could see that if it was during the end of his career like it was to the other 3 guys but he still has at least 4-5 years under his belt to put this behind him.

I think it depends on his reaction honestly. Most people forget about Giambi, Pettite, Sosa, Roberts etc.... Palmerio, Bonds, Clemens and McGuire were all defiant and lied on the stand and to congress about it.

I think people get their jollys off when people stand defiant in the face of obvious fact. Pettite was like "whatever, made a mistake" and he has a new contract with the Yanks and no one is talking about it. Clemens cant by a break lol, McNamee is still supplying syringes, blood samples and Clemens is in the headlines STILL. Man the fuck up and admit to being human and most people wont tar and feather you like the other poor saps.

I saw Dana Stubbfield got something like 5 years probation for getting caught up in the BALCO thing but he pulled a Canseco and outed names of NFL players. That should be interesting as well int he next few weeks or months when and if names are released.

I swear I will goatse and dead Peruvian boot weasel if you know who gets outed and banned from the league. I'm getting a chub just thinking about the potential of that happening.

Yeah, I guess. If Griffey didn't get hurt way back when, I can only imagine how good he'd be. It seems like every time someone comes along, belting all these homeruns, Griffey gets forgotten, then they turn out to be cheaters and he looks even better.

Big Frank Thomas though? Really? o.o; I know he's been a pretty good hitter, but he hasn't done much in the last few years has he? I haven't followed it.
