His argument was in order to kraken rng at dynamis you most likely need to /nin so you're not a MP sink. So if you need to do that and the parse numbers are the same as standard rng/war why spend 35mil when I can do that for free. I also doubt he's right, but I can't say either way without either some proof, or second hand knowledge.

you do not need /nin to not be a mp sink, if any of the other melee are half competent u should be 100% fine, i have only gone KC rng/war, except to tavnazia, for the past years, never had many problems, maybe if its the end of the run and a lot of ppl left, but even then if i die its either i got completely 1 shotted, or many other melees died and im next in line, mobs will die before you get the chance die, if things are going right

If he means KC RNG/NIN vs. /ra RNG/WAR, sorry, not even close (and Dynamis is like, the worst example to pick). RNG wastes lots of time in Dynamis on mobs that die mid-shot; KC RNG suffers much less in this regard. Furthermore, KC RNG (with buff support) will outpace /ra RNG/WAR roughly 4:1 in WS.

    It's a complete blowout.

    Ok cool, thanks

Yes, sorry if I was not specific enough. He meant KC rng/nin vs RA rng/war.

So basically VS is just used as a warcry every 5 mins to WS because the +15% att delay probably hurts a lot more than losing 15% attk on WS?

Yeah, on anything where KC hits for >0, /ra RNG will basically get crushed.

RNG gets too much of its damage from WS for it to be otherwise.

Did you unequip it for gears? I imagine it may make their tp spam a bit unbearable?

edit: thanks again spider-dan and matix for the replies.

Here's my experience with Kclub in meripo; i'm not doing it again. Kclub feeds exp mobs too much damn TP for how much damage it does. A Pecking Flurry spamming Colibri isn't fun to deal with, or maybe it decides to erase TP that much more or eat food like it has a tape worm. CM Spongebob Flies? Yeah, Cursed Sphere over and over again = MPK. Put your toy away, save it for AV.

bring some better melees, and exp on better mobs. too much tp? lel. the worst tp move from mobs you should be exping on is firespit. snatch morsel? are u joking? that's like the mob literally wasting its tp on a useless move, im just gonna pop another food regardless..

is a colibri @ bird camp likely to get off more than two ws's ever regardless of whether or not it's being whacked by a KC? with 3 dd's (say war/nin axes) the mob will be getting nearly 100tp per attack round anyways.

also, if trying to avoid getting 8/8 club merits, would madrigal be enough for birds -only- allowing me to eat meat

Should really try to swing a cor, hunter's roll is way better for you than getting stuck with madrigal...

I have a ebody/ridill war, and kclub rng but no merits on either. I want to buff one of them, so should i do axe/sword or club/marksmanship? which would do more dmg fully merited?

if ure gunna merit on birds mostly, KC rng will win w/o even merits when played well, but it cost money to play rng vs no ammo fees on war! additionally tho, i though ppl usually say go gaxe on war nowadays? im not really a pro in that field, but if u just want someone else's opinion, go KC rng, its reaaaaal fun!
