Firefox cookies problem.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I've never had this problem before until I moved into my new apartment.

Every time I close my firefox, I lose all of my cookies and have to sign in to every website again. I tested this with IE and it doesn't have that problem.

I've already gone to tools > privacy > keep cookies until they expire and accept cookies from sites. "Clear private data every time I close firefox" box is unchecked, and I have the box checked "ask me before clearing private data".

What else do I need to do to fix this problem

I'll assume you aren't using any wacky plugins, but maybe delete cookies.sqlite file and restart FF, hope that works. The file is in your profile folder.

Is your "Virus Scanner" (or Adware protection stuffs) removing cookies as you go along?

that is very strange. at first when i was reading your posts i thought maybe your firewall was preventing you from using cookies but you wrote that IE was working just fine. maybe try this if you havent: reinstall firefox. if that doesnt work then

can also try making a new profile to see if it's corruopted click start then run then firefox -p
