Haubergeon+1 VS Osode for Sam

Just wonder which is the best atm for SAM for my ws set up.

Hagun | Pole Strap | Tiphia Sting
Ace's helm | Snow/flame gorget | Bushi | Brutal
Hauby+1 or osode | Alky's | Raja's | Flame
Forager's | Warwolf | Usu legs | Rutter

Been a large debait between a few sam's in my ls and I'm wonder what other might have to say. Worried I might miss a little more then I'd like and lose the attack even if I gain 6 more str.

Also: I have askar but I don't even think that should be an option considering lossing 1 str to gain store tp and double attack.

I'd still Weapon Skill in Haubergeon +1 if your accuracy isn't capped.

Acc with hauby+1 tends to be 92%~94% on mamool. Depends on the day and if the brd does an acc song on the lurker. Have 8/8 GK merits as well.

To answer I think since we found out about the cap atk and nearly cap accurancy on gekko that Osode is the best WS piece available atm. Now if you ask me on high eva HNM, I would still use Hauby +1. But that's jsut me, if you're looking for number apparently from the recent testing KO is sitting on top of the Damage list.

And you definitely not want to look at atk. What you want to compare here is :

Acc +11~12 for hauby
Str +4 for KO

Now if you're /thf choice is obvious, if you're /war it's another story.

Oh and btw next time us what's best thread for stuff like that ^^

Not to derail or anything but like sam, but as RNG do we need a lot of acc in our WS set to get consistent SW's to land assume your eating meat?

I always felt if your doing a WS on any HNM that going to a WS set would make you miss when your SA is down, moreso for RNG who is usually /sam/nin/war ect

Yes I normally eat meat with any hnm/event/merit. If I started using a KO I thought about maybe using that new pizza with 20% attack and acc.

On HNM I don't think I will change the fact that I use hauby+1 expect for times where I'll get atkx2/hastex2/accx2 songs for zerg.

I'm thinking maybe in Dyna, Ein, merit, and other events I might be able to push some of my WS numbers a little higher with KO w/o losing consistancy.

I still can't quite make myself accept putting on Osode on SAM simply because it was ingrained for so long that Hauby +1 is superior. I suppose it's worth switching for a few weeks and using the power of my mind to ascertain whether the benefit is worth it.

As a break down though, I'd be interested in seeing the math re:

Hauby +1 / Askar Korazin / Osode

as far as which will provide the most advantage for WS in which situations. Use small numbers and big words.

There was a topic about this extremely recently. If people want the numbers again, they may as well just look a page or two back.

Long story short, single-hit weapon skills recieve an ~50 accuracy bonus(this number is actually still up for discussion, as some feel that it may flat-out cap your WSAcc in lieu of just granting a numerical bonus). In addition to that, YGK also have a well know massive pDIF bonus. Because of this, Osode is going to be superior to Haubergeon +1 99% of the time. The person who's claiming to have capped WSAcc on Mamool using Haubergeon +1 would have capped WSAcc if they were using Osode.

It'd be really swell if people stopped answering this question when they repeatedly give the wrong answer.

There are 2 outcome from RNG eating food in endgame:
1. I wish I could eat meat.
2. I wish I ate sushi.

You do get consistent hit rate on your slug or not. I've never seen anything in the middle.

I'd stick to Haub. From my understanding, the difference in the damage is like 20-30 points per WS give or take a few but then you're putting back on the Haub for TP gains again... So unless you're filthy rich or getting one free, Haub is the "better" choice.
