Mystic Boon STR test

So I finally got around to it last night, and here's what I found:

Both series were with Training Maul (DMG:1) and with Sneak Attack on starter mobs (lv.0~1 or whatever they are, like before)

Over 20 SA'd Boons @ 100TP, with 46STR and 89MND, the avg was 167.
( low 153, high 178 )

Over 20 SA'd Boons @ 105TP, with 87STR and 89MND, the avg was 202.
( low 185, high 213 )

Can someone better at WS math please assist? It really looks like STR is a modifier now. Do I need to provide any more numbers?

Not sure about the WS math right now, but STR gives ATT which is influencing the numbers here.

I shouldn't think so to the extent of OPs example on Lv1 mobs.

41 STR gave you 35 damage increase. If I recall, pdif cap for 1H is ~3.0 (Seriously I can't remember.)

Working backwards, that should give you an 11-12 base damage increase from 41 STR.

41*.83 (The modifier constant) = ~34

34 / (11-12) = ~30% STR Modifier

Aw, don't stop. We have STR sitting around on some pieces for a reason it seems! This is useful, I'm trying to make a set for Mystic Boon. I'm averaging around 130-150 with some very basic melee-type gear (Chiv chain, potent belt) and some nicer pieces (AF+1 hands). Thanks for the info!

so .3 str and .5 mnd wouldn't that make this basically savage blade for whm but just 1 hit instead of 2 then?
