Seems legit enough to me, considering it's on the front page of the Playonline website and all.

Of course, the primary purpose of the registration seems to be in order to send you email about product announcements and things. Possibly also to get survey type info.

Yeah they've had the Square-Enix members thing for a while, every few months they send subscribers a nicely formatted e-mail with new games and stuff, and a survery here and there. I cant view this from work, but I imagine that it's a sweepstakes for registered members, in which case, awesome.

I think it's a push to get more U.S. members, the login thing for the contest specifically says Japanese accounts won't work.

Bah. It was a SE site and asked for my username/password, so I assumed it meant POL name/password and attempted to enter those. If I get hacked in the next couple days, that'll be why. (But maybe I'll win a free CD in the process!)

First people complain when Se does JP only stuff..now people complain when they do US only stuff? >.> Guessing you're in the EU or Canada or some obscure country like Australia?

Be nice to see what's in there, but once I click 'agree' on the page you get sent to by the e-mail link they send, I get "URL invalid' and can't proceed. Tried on three different mail accounts. Ah well!
