Movies/Animu you hated

So I'm packing up my DVD's for moving and I get to the dusty part of the shelf of DVD's that I'll never watch again / get rid of.

Not get rid of mainly because they're old and not worth the trouble because they wouldn't fetch a good price. But the real reason for a couple is they're horrible, and I wouldn't wish them on some unsuspecting stranger.

So for starters, my reason for creating this thread:

What is it about? A bunch of bitch sisters who inherit the treasure of a south pacific island when their long lost brother who married into the royalty of said island dies. The treasure is a Godzilla like monster named Neoranga, who destroys half of toyko to hover over the girls house and smack down the military when they get to close. Sound retarded? It is.

Most of the story focus's on the youngest sister as she becomes a tabloid sensation because they have a giant monster hovering over their house, and because she can say 'there, smack that' and it will. There, I just described most of every episode. The rest of the show is the other sisters trying to make money off their prediciment, instead of going to live like royalty in a tropical paradise. Dumb bitches.

TL;DR: The was the first series I bought based off the cover alone because hey, it looked badass. It was also the last I'll buy without getting an opinion on it because it sucked so hard.

Hate is a strong word, but I've stirred up bickering before by saying it..."The Fountain was a below average film at best".

Never watched much anime...I think Dragonball and DBZ are about the limits of my anime viewing history.

For animu, Girl Bravo and Popotan are some of the worst I've seen. Boogiepop phantom is one of the few series I never completed as well (and there is only 6 episodes). That shit was boring.

Funny enough I only bought the neo ranga dvds for the covers too...and I still have them in their inverted nsfw covers. I couldn't get into FMP so I never bought the rest of the dvds when they came out back then but I probably could now if I watched it.

Anyways, gonna have to agree with Neo Ranga.

King of Bandits Jing was also pretty terrible.

The cake though goes to this shitty anime I can't remember but the basic premise is it's about a kid who lives alone and is studying to pass his college entrance exams. He skips one of the questions and as such messes up filling in his scantron answer key and fails the thing horribly.

Upon hearing of his failure, his butler tells him he can't inherit his family's fortune and instead packs up all his stuff and puts him on a boat to move to some college on a deserted island. When he gets to the island, the main character finds that the waters around the island are surrounded by sharks so he can't leave, and there are no boats or rafts. Anyways, he finds out that his living quarters are in a giant mansion, which is stocked with girls (read: lolis). The thing is, all the girls in the mansion claim to be the main character's sister. And they're all deeply and madly in love with him. And they're all in his classes at college. It's terrible.

Shit makes no sense.

Never seen it, but if the shadow caster college students are any indication of its quality, then I'd be inclined to agree with you.

Also, I really disliked The Princess Bride. I read the book and really enjoyed it, but the movie let me down. Billy Crystal was the only good part, everything else can go DIAF.

How dare a show actually try to deal with things on an adult level instead of the shitty high school dramas that most anime are these days. Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is one of the best shows I have seen, and considerably less emo than most of the popular shows these days.
