I was Keepo's LS leader back on Lakshmi before him and a bunch of other people transferred over to Quetz. While it's hard to be impartial and offer an objective response to your request for a BC, I'll try my best.

Keepo joined my linkshell back in August of 2008. During the time, we were in need of members and I think for most of his tenure in the LS, he did a good enough job of helping us out with the jobs he had. His attendance at events/camps I'd say was average to above average. His skill when it came to his jobs I'd say is average to above average as well. I don't think he'll be the cause for any wipage or mess ups when it comes to battles, but I also don't think he'd put any group over the top. I certainly think he's capable, but aside from his gear, which is outstanding, I don't think he's any better or worse compared to the rest of the players I've seen with his jobs (RDM, DRK, THF, RNG, and NIN I believe).

I think I'd give Keepo a pretty positive review overall, however, I think it's important I mention a couple of things that you and your LS might want to keep in mind. While I don't believe these are horrible acts in any way, I do think that they're a testament to a player's character as well as integrity.

1) There were a decent amount of times where Keepo would depearl and go XP/Merit while the LS was camping or doing an event. However, to play devil's advocate, I think everyone has been guilty of playing hooky when it comes to LS events. Personally I wouldn't have had issue with this, except Keepo's application to our LS back in August specifically said, and I quote, directly from his application:

"I might not be able to do every single event that your ls does, but if im online i am more than happy to drop what im doing for someone, ive done it before and will do again."

I like to trust people and take their word on something. If he had no intention of following through on those words, then he shouldn't have said them. Simple as that. If he's promising your LS the same thing, I'd say take it with a grain of salt. Maybe I'm being too much of a stickler, or too much of an ass on this specific issue, so I'll move on.

2) I'm not sure on the specific date he transferred servers, since he didn't inform anyone in our LS or post on our forum (see number 3), but when he left, he took one of our Deed of Moderation with him. While this isn't something that's really important or expensive, I think the mere fact that he left without giving something back that rightfully belonged to us is just wrong. Again, to play devil's advocate, maybe he forgot that he had it and switched servers before realizing he had it. That could certainly be a possibility. However, it still constitutes theft, and it's still wrong.

3) As said in point number 2, Keepo didn't inform anyone in our LS or post on our forum that he was going to leave. And if he did tell someone, then he told the wrong person because the right thing to do would be to inform a SH, which he didn't. The only reason I have issue with this is because I think it's a testament to a lack of integrity on Keepo's part. If a person is going to leave, for whatever reason, be it we sucked, or the person had a better opportunity of obtaining items and having fun with another LS...whatever the reason, the right thing to do is man up, come "face to face" with the LS, and tell the LS. Personally, I wouldn't have cared if Keepo PM'd or /tell'd me and cursed me out before leaving...so long as he told me that he was doing so. I think it boils down to respect. Obviously he had none for me, which I'm OK with. However, what I'm not OK with is his lack of respect for his former LS mates. To not say anything to the people who helped him obtain items or whatever is discourteous and rude. Afterall, he did obtain several items from the LS and there for, I think we as a LS deserve that much from him.

I realize the points I listed were anything but impartial or objective, even though I did try to play devil's advocate with myself. However, in my last attempt to be fair, I will say that I think Keepo is worth taking a shot on. I think he could be helpful, be it his TH4 or Kclub DRK for zergs. I definitely don't think he's a bad person, I just think he lacks integrity and went about his departure the wrong way. And maybe I'm QQ'ing, but eh...you asked for a BC so there you go. GL to both him and you/your LS.

To expand a little bit on what Phildo has said:

I agree with his assessment of Keepo's personality. He's a pretty cool guy. I never had a problem with his behavior, his skill at his jobs, and so on; and I'm usually pretty damn intolerant of stupid shit. I think he'd be an asset to you, if you choose to accept him.

However, I'm sure I speak for most of the LS when I say, a heads-up that he was leaving would be nice. Keepo did not get a ton of valuable items from our linkshell, but he got enough that a simple "Hey guys, I'm out, here's why" would have been nice:

So yeah, not a shit-ton of valuable rare drops, but enough to extend us a simple courtesy by saying, "I'm leaving".

First off Philly boy I gave you and your shell the same respect that they showed to me and some of my friends by not saying goodbye to you. I said goodbye to 95% of the ppl that i needed to, wiht the exception of kat, gar, gl, and ken, who i didnt see before i left. The rest knew and i wouldnt be surprised in the next month to see more leave and see the ls implode. You ran a shell based off favortism for the US side while the EU did alot of the dirty work. We farmed your sky while you all only need to kill gods. The top 10 ppl in the past 6 months that addented hnms camps or hnm scanning i think 80% of them were from EU and me being number 6 so dont go complaining that i took some down time a couple times to do ohter stuff. And while all the EU spend more time campin the US recieved more gear, the little that was collected. And to have 1o ppl leave your linskshell in the past 2 weeks has to reflect you as a leader. In sports when a team shits the bed you dont go after the players you can the coach, in this case you are the coach. You were always considered to being too nice of a leader and that doesnt always work in a hnm shell , ppl try to take advantage of it and alot still do by doing what they want or camping what they want. You got ppl in the shell that havent camped 1-2 hnms in past 3 months but they play everyday, grow a set and boot them or have them help your shell.
And yes I left because that server is owned by Snd, Vic, Hna, and Emi, we claimed more stuff in one day here then Wsz did in the past 3-4 months.

WSZ claims stuff often enough to provide hours of entertainment to other LSs at Ixion or Tiamat, so unfortunately, I'm going to have to call bullshit on this line. Can't really comment on the rest, other than to say that if Keepo really is their #6 HNM camper, they must have perma-invisible or something. I've rarely noticed them at any of the camps we compete at.

Anyway, I didn't know Keepo long enough to comment on him as a player or whatever, but I will comment on my observations of the LS and Phil as a leader. Although I am new to the LS, I can say Phil is perhaps the most honest leader of any LS I been in, and I been in some damn good ones. I noticed alot of players addressing issues with Phil by talking behind his back, instead of telling him directly, perhaps that would have been a much better way to voice any concerns.
As far as other LS owning us, and being a part of a LS that claims everything, that is all fine and good. Lakshmi has alot of endgame competition, and there is no way with 6 HNM LS your going to dominate anything. On any given night there could be upwards of 6 good LS at any camp, can you say the same about quetz? if that is the case then you have your answer as to why your LS claims so much.

Wsz is a good LS with very good leadership, but the reality alot of salty players decided to try to take a shit on the LS because of there personal dissatisfaction, instead of just addressing the concerns and leaving in a respectful manner. I've been on two different servers, and before I returned to lakshmi, both times I made a note of having a long conversation with the LS leaders and letting them know why I left, it's called common courtesy.

Everyone has their share of fuckups at HNMs. I've seen your LS, and my own for that matter, have bad nights at some HNMs. I wouldn't judge the entire shell based off of one or two performances. And in their defense, their last DI was relatively quick and clean.

I dont judge the shell on one or two performances. Hell, my endgame career even started in WSz almost 4 years ago. HOWEVER when im camping ixion for 8 hours, because a certain linkshell constantly has scouters (And i use the term scouters very loosely because they are just out there to scare for 4 hours, not to claim) It makes my respect for them fall through the floor. It has gotten to the point that we should really call a GM before window starts whenever we see them in a zone because we know the scare games are going to start. Moving out of that shell is more common sense then a hard decision. I dont know keepo personally, but he must have some common sense at least.

/shrug. The burden of proof is on the accuser. I can honestly say, I've never personally witnessed, nor been present in the shell when, someone from WSz intentionally scared Ixion off. I know it has been scared off a couple times, but you're GREATLY exaggerating.
