Anyone actually surprised by this is intentionally ignoring all of the clear signs. XI will probably still be around, but once we all see Rapture, with all of the updates coming, no one will play XI. It will be a ghost town of mithras cybering in whitegate, level sync LSs, and shouts for basic craftable items.

that was only a tech demo using crystal tools which is being used in rapture... the demo was of jeuno

My only wish for Rapture is that if there's something like a mog house in the game I'd like to be able to use my FFXI account info and get a San d'Orian flag to go in there or something.

Would be kinda cool, I think.
