So what happens if the lawn has a picket fence?
Do they train the dudes in running hurdles just in case?

Dude, do you know how much fucking snow Buffalo gets each winter. Fucking wow.
And you guys want the government to run healthcare and the banking industry when they can't even get mail delivery correct.
If he got suspended or fired he'd get full pay anyway. The post office union is pretty good. They'd probably save money if they stopped giving upper management massive bonuses. The plant manager in my area took home $400k as a bonus last year. At the same time, he froze all hirings locally and cut my hours to save money. Awesome.
Edit: Missed the "warning letter" part in the story. That's nothing. Postal discipline is: Verbal discussion > written warning (what he got) > 7 day suspension > 14 day suspension > fired > rehired with backpay thanks to union > repeat. Just to get to the verbal discussion you have to keep ticking them off. It gets even harder to get to the next step. Several people I work with are almost always on written warnings because they call in sick almost weekly.
Wait, since when are there not private postal services?
People still use USPS because it's way fucking cheaper. Pretty sure there was nothing "incorrect" about this guy getting mail from one person to another.
When the headline is "USPS just gives up entirely because who gives a shit, it's not like they are a for-profit venture anyways", then come here with your free market masturbation Pohi.
I thought the OP was about the US postal service, not free market vs government controlled institutions.
Why are you trolling/derailing/etc, Pohi?
ITT: Bitter posters.
Same thing is going on at UPS, where I work, right now. A ton of supervisors and managers got shit canned, something like, 1,400 of them. It actually makes me kind of happy, because as far as I know, most of the people who got fired are the same kind of people who just come around and fuck my day up.
