Yeah he's like not again alex, your not hittin another homer.
Nominees for bonehead of the game:
A) Tim Mcdouche down there at 3rd
B) Tim McCarver
C) Jorge Posada
All very good candidates.
Also what are the odds that two players would tie the record for most RBIs in consecutive games in the postseason in the same year? crazy
and another homer for the yankees.
That should be it now.
That's a backbreaker. I'll be curious when Joe decides to give CC the hook.
He's lost a few mph on his fast ball and his change is the same, and throwing both well still for strikes, I would let him finish if he can, he's still punchin people out.
lol, well, you're not gonna bring in Mo when you have a 6 run lead, they might just let Aceves close it out to try to get some confidence back. It honestly wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. If a couple guys get on, you bring in the big guns.
Or... maybe he just lets CC go the distance lol
Yeah as I posted that he was humming it in at 94 and 95 lol...
I think CC will go the distance tonight, give the bullpen's a little break tonight.
God damn gardner is fast, lol.
What a ridiculous night. Kate Hudson has worked wonders for my Yanks.
Some solid hitting today for the Yankees, still some struggling with RISP in the beginning. Excited for next game now, like to see them wrap it up strong.
next game is going to be interesting with AJ vs. Lackey. Lots of question marks there. Will yankee stadium negate Lackey's recent success? Will AJ be productive again?
5-3 yanks.
They still play one more in Anaheim before heading back to the Bronx if the Yanks don't wrap it up tomorrow.
Lackey has the clear edge, and didn't have a breaking ball in the cold weather in Game 1. He figures to be much better this time around. The only question will be if Burnett is able to match him or not. I'm leaning towards... probably not. The Yankees are going to have to get some offense going and get into a worn out Angels pen.
Well both series are now over, lol
