Well grats to the Phillies. I'm frankly amazed at how easily the Dodgers went down. I wonder if Torre will catch some flack for going to a Bruce concert instead of staying with his team for the upcoming elimination game.

Anyway, Phillies/Yankees would be a heck of a series. Hell, even Angels/Phillies would be a good series.

I'm not really surprised by how the Dodgers performed, I thought they got lucky and caught the Cardinals napping. Their lineup never really excited me, and as Ron Darling pointed out, the bullpen just looked gassed. If the Yankees do end up advancing, this will be the first time in a while where I think the World Series will actually have the two best teams in baseball. Sign me up for Sabathia vs. Lee game one, should be epic.
