You got my hopes up for nothing!

But seriously. I wouldn't mind getting a little more power in my line-up if you wanna work something out. My team is decent.

    I love Yankee Fans

Because of them I was able to pound the under on 97.5 wins after they signed Tex.

97.5 wins is a ridiculous number anyway in my opinion. They'll probably win 93-95.

    A) Yankee fans don't set the over/number number, oddsmakers in Vegas do

    B) They don't sign players either, that would be Cashman's job

Back the fuck off Yankee fans

Misconception, the public sets the number.

After tex was signed, people pounded the over until it got all the way to 97.5.

And Yankee fans are the only ones who bet on the Yankees amirite?! And as I remember, that number dropped once A-rod got hurt so... I'm not sure what your point is. Tex doesn't make them better or something? Anyway, whatever.

You take things a little too seriously lol, and I have really no idea where you're going with that post.

    >>Yankees sign Tex
    >>People pound the over until it gets all the way up to 97.5
    >>I and a lot of others bet the under and make off like bandits.

I'm not really sure how out of any of this you get "Tex doesn't help the Yankees" ??? And everything else you've gone off on lol

And it dropped not long after it was 97.5 because people like myself pounded the under. Wouldn't be surprised if it dropped more after A-rod got hurt, since more people would have been pounding the under.

You're wrong if you don't think the majority of people betting the over weren't Yankee fans.

Majority of all overs are of the fans of the team they're betting on lol.

Nady out for the year, might need TJS..again.

It'd be fucking awesome if we went a season without losing a starter to a season ending injury, fucking shit.

Ortiz is sucking it up something fierce. Heard some mild boos after both of his K's.

To be fair, Nady is more or less a replacement level player. He's basically league-average with his bat and league-average with his glove. This isn't losing Posada in 08, Matsui in 06, ect.

And 9-1, best start in franchise history

Holy shit. I just got back from Fenway where the Sox came back from a 7-0 hole to beat the Orioles. When Green drove in two runs to tie the game at 8, that was the loudest I've ever heard Fenway (in fairness, I wasn't in attendance for any of the recent rash of dramatic playoff games.) What a way to break out of an early season slump if they're able to parlay tonight's game and Wake's great performance two days ago into a bit of a winning streak.

EDIT @ Fren: Mild boos for Ortiz? I guess the crowd mic wasn't anywhere near the bleachers or RF grandstands. The guy was getting killed all night, but once he made an out with the bases loaded (I want to say it was in the 7th), people were about ready to run him out of town. Personally, I say they've got to ride him out for a bit. He's certainly earned that, and is being paid enough that they can't just sit him. At the same time, if he gets hurt and Lars Anderson gets called up then I won't complain.

Fuck, I went to bed after I watched the Twins 'pen give up 5 runs in the 7th and 1 in the 8th. I was tired and didn't care to see a repeat of the game before.

I wake up now to see that the Twins rallied for 7 runs in the 8th, including a Jason Kubel grand slam that capped a cycle.

See, I wish that happened to me. Game 2 of the Sox/Athletics I go to bed some time in the 7th hoping I'd wake up and find that Sox made a comeback, but no. no they didn't.
