Scott Boras gave an interview to Playboy this month where he talked about how every era has its own characteristics and this era is the pharmacological era and we need to look at the players and their achievements accordingly.

Thing is though, I was always positive that A-Rod was clean, even as much as I hated him after he shat on Texas on his departure. When Bonds broke the HR record, I remember saying "you know what, I can't wait until A-Rod breaks that record so someone clean can have it." So much for that...

Never thought Rafael Palmerio ever took 'roids either and that got shattered as well...the list just goes on and on...

I might be slightly numb to the "shock" of steroids now, but it is still very, very depressing when more big name players test positive.

Hes a sportswriter with a clear bias, which while some may laud his writing skills, makes him a biased writer nonetheless. he is not dumb, he knows his rep, and for him to come out within the hour and basically defend manny is bullshit. be objective. say lets wait for further details rather than flat out IT WAS ROIDS I SWEAR. he would not have replied as quickly with such a subjective analysis. he is an old man scared of the threat of his lifelong favorite team having their only world series since hes been alive be remotely discredited.
