Yankees win their 7th in a row, competing with the BrewCrew for hottest team in the majors. Tex and Arod are destroying everything they see right now, I think they have a combined 8 HR and 14-15RBI in the last 4 games. With the pitching staff settling in, Bruney back in the pen, and Posada/Nady/Wang on their way back to the team, Yanks are finally looking like they can get on an extended roll here.

Yanks back Phil Hughes to win their 8th in a row. All 3 teams at the top of the AL east are within 1 game of each other in the loss column now. NESPN continues to try to bury the Yankee's winning ways by showing clips of washed up Ortiz hitting a meaningless home run. I think I actually saw John Kruk and Gammons shed a tear when they had to acknowledge the Yankee winning streak.
