I don't really understand this, who are the kids trying to explain themselves to, and what websites have such complicated age verification that they need to explain themselves at all?

Don't they just hit the "I am 18" button and go on in? Or enter a birthdate that would make them at least 13 for social sites... assuming they're old enough to do basic math.

On my site if you click the under 18 thing it leads you to some form to "show to your parents you can view this material".

Surprisingly... alot people click it, i've seen alot strange responses from "Wtf is this I didn't click that" to "mommy does it all the time I'm sure its fine" and even stranger stuff I'm not even sure if its a drunk person or faceroll response.
