Sometime around this Spring, no official release date. I will be severly pissed if they don't allow download through POL or at least DLC for the 360.

That's a good point I don't think anyone has made before. I'd much rather them delay the patch a bit and get the mini-expansion and patch done right than rush it out the door and appease the ravenous cries for an update.

They specifically said that the expansions have a completely different team and will have separate updates. The regular spring update is supposed to have nothing to do with the expansion. The reason the update is late has nothing to do with the expansion or they flat out lied to us.

Just because separate teams are developing the patch and expansionette doesn't mean they aren't coordinating the releases. It would be much less hassle on their part to release things simultaneously so they don't need multiple downtimes on the servers; something we can all appreciate as well.

This, plus you forget that SE is lazy and the update probably would have been pushed back anyway haha.
