Why was the WoW thread closed?

I know I was a bit sarcastic but due to the recent commentary about FFXI dying because of SE's next MMO, it was at least topical.

The thread attached in the link even has your typical "dead game ->" mentality from WoW players.

I was just trying to give a bit of sensible balance and perspective to some people. This isn't Alla, right? Besides, Advanced has been boring as hell lately.

You can of course delete this thread, ban me or whatever after this is or is not resolved.

Still, seems a little strange that he would leave. Even stranger that all of this major MMO stuff is happening now. EVE Bannings, FFXI bannings and Rapture announcement and now the lead designer of WoW.

Agreed. Honestly, I pretty much avoid every forum that isn't under FFXI because they are all just differing levels of Dante's Inferno.
