Or he may have been bowling the ball wrong. Is this the first time it has happened? Did you notice yourself bowling any differently compared to say the last time you went? Change your style mid-game?

Take some ibuprofen for daytime activity, and then aleve before you go to bed at night. Get something to stabilize your arm and don't touch it or otherwise aggravate it. Probably before you wrap it you want to rub mentholatum on it to stimulate the blood vessels (which will speed up healing time) to dilate.

Give it about 4-5 days of this and if you STILL have pain upon touching it or even swelling and some sort of pain persists or at any point gets worse, go see a doctor and don't worry about insurance. You may do permanent damage which is a lot worse than overpaying.

Also, go to a clinic and not a hospital. They will charge you less.

Sounds like a sprain. A while ago, I sprained a few ligaments in my spine and it felt exactly like that whenever I put pressure on it or the muscles pulled on the sprained ligaments. If it's a sprain, there's really not much you can do for it but RICE and some physical therapy. However, my sprains healed very quickly after I started doing physical therapy (1-2 weeks), but I spent about a month before that doing nothing and it just kept getting worse.

Some of these responses are just retarded.

Sorry guys, but they are. Enough with the medical advice. If something is wrong or abnormal or strange about your body, talk to your family, and go see a physician.

You realize not having insurance doesn't mean anything right? There are things called charity care and such. When there is a shooting involving mexican gang members that are all illegals, and the wounded walk into the hospital; do you really think that they are told "no insurance? sorry try another hospital"? I've seen a non-citizen without insurance eat up well over a weeks worth of ICU time and get open heart surgery. You don't need insurance in order to get help.

With all these medical threads, it needs its own sub forum Q_Q
Getting sick of every week a new "BG Doctor help me out" thread appears!

    /end sar...

    fuck it

As for advice, jump in front of a moving car. When they get out to check on you start screaming that your arm is broken. Tell the driver you going to sue their ass to pay for your arm. Hopefully this will scare the driver to pay for your medical bills, if not you could always sue them for hitting you with their car.

I'm pretty sure both of my responses contained the phrase "go see a physician" at some point.

I think it pretty unfair to criticize people giving medical advice (especially since I myself am studying medicine and enjoy the practice!) when he asking for some.

His arm hurts. There are short term remedies for that. Obviously the solution is to go see a physician. Especially if the pain persists.

I'm thinking it might be a mild form of Tendenitis: Tendinitis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I had it when I did weightlifting using free weights for the first time. I'd consider finding a doctor just to make sure nothing was torn and to get some anti-inflammatory medicine or a muscle relaxer. Outside of that, I'd consider heating the area to see if the swelling goes down so you can relax your arm.
