The noticeable difference between McNair and VY:
McNair: Every time he stepped back to throw a pass and the ball would go offscreen, we always knew he was going to hit D Mason / Wycheck right on the money for a first down. No doubt about it.
Vince Young: If he steps back and looks downfield, we almost have a heart attack EVERY time.
The End
i remember a game a few years ago, i think it was the year he tied with manning for MVP, he had a game where he was like 12/16 for 400 yards or some off the wall shit like that.
I remember the game where he drove us down the Meadowlands with like 45 seconds left, ran in for a TD, and then ran in for a 2PT conversion to tie the game and send it to overtime.
In overtime, he was a beast which the Giants could not contain. I remember going so crazy I accidently knocked over my mom's Christmas tree.
McNair > ALL
*cough*

He sprained his ankle terribly escaping a tackle in his own end zone in the first quarter, this pic was at the end of the third.
Both teams were undefeated and top 10 at the time.
That was his freshman year, btw.
I still think he'll get there.
The KEY difference is that is a college game, he was already leaps and bounds ahead of HS players and could of easily played in College his Senior, hell probably Junior year too.
I specifically remember a game where he was booed and refused to go out on the field, not very McNairish. Oh snap I made a new word, don't get me wrong I don't HATE VY but comparing him to McNair is like comparing Ovaries to Testicles. They are essentially the same thing but very different.
Confirmed McNair case is murder-suicide.
I do.
You see, this is why I like DeMarcus Ware. He's not some selfish, prima donna that is only out to get his. It sucks that Ellis was cut loose but I have to give credit where credit is due. Now this begs the question, whats up the Wade Phillips and his staff? I mean basically the players are coaching themselves and what not so why bother even having Wade as coach?
Ex-Dallas Cowboys LB Greg Ellis: DeMarcus Ware hid so I could play - ESPN
Now that "the player" is gone I can make insightful Cowboys posts.
Yeah, he was on the radio this morning and got asked about that. He shied away from directly saying he did that, but in the same breath he had nothing but great things to say about Ellis. I wouldn't be surprised if it is true at all.
For your second point (Phillips and the staff) it seems things are indeed changing at Valley Ranch. Phillips and Co. are doing what they can to hold people more accountable. One quote that came out of mini-camp from Phillips was "Do it again. This year we don't just do it right, we do it perfect."
Now yeah, why weren't we doing that before? But oh well, I'll take what I can get. Hopefully, this will bring some positive changes for the 'Boys.
Now I see why I really have my "Cowboys Compliment Token" from you...
LOL
No news for today. However, it's been 4,577 days since the Cowboys won a playoff game.
That is all.
Miz, you should be a Cowboys fan. Why? This is one of our TEs:
