We had to trade up for Brown this year, which was absolutely worth it imo.
Thanks to Clutch's contract, we're looking more at 2011 anyways...unless...
Miz! I got it! We should draft Paulus next yearrrrrrrr! Syracuse officially named him the starter for the season, lol.
I'm a huge Duke fan, so I gotta' watch ma boy and see how he does. He was the #1 ranked QB coming out of high school, so who the fuck knows. He's got some potential.
The Rams are absolutely worse than the Niners.
Crabtree needs to shit or get off the pot.
I'd like to see the Niners become competitive again. They're still my #2 team. I lived out in the east bay area up until 92' when I moved to NC, so I'm still a closet Niners fan.
Of course, we still had Rice, Young, Harris, Griffin, etc back then, lol. They got a loooonnnngggg ways to go now ;;
I'm sort of glad Smith is holding out. Brown doesn't want to overpay this headcase, and if his agent doesn't get a deal done, he certainly won't get much if he goes into next years draft. Plus, the longer this hold out takes, the more pressure it puts on Gooddell to stop worrying about people who smoke weed and get working on a rookie cap.
I hope he does hold out, the Niners dont need some tool like him in their locker room, they already have Vernon Davis for that shit. I hope he gets mad, holds out and is a 6th round pick next year.
Enjoy your Clarettness you pretentious fgt. Man I cant stand him.
I'm not sure if that would be more satisfying, or if he finally gave in and accepted what they were offering and became a total flop.
Huge waste of money and salary cap room, but god damn it'd be great to see him fail.
Yes it would. And here I was thinking Al was a moron for passing on Crabtree.
Going into the season I was a big fan of crabtree, now I dont much care for him at all, he's playing the arrogant negro card and its annoying, also, Miz our new stadium is pretty fuckign awesome, learn to love it.
Shit, too busy at work today can't keep up with the posts so screw quoting.
Miz is right, fuck Jerry. The man does want to win, but he also loves to line his fucking wallet and his huge fucking ego. He's been forever pissed that he has heard nothing but "Jimmy Johnson's teams won the Super Bowls, Jerry's teams don't even win a playoff game" among other things.
The scoreboard is just another one of those. Yeah, he went above the minimum requirement, but when it became (predictably) an issue, it became more of a pissing match between Jerry and the NFL. Shit's annoying.
As far as raising the scoreboard for the U2 concert here is what is going to happen:
- U2 is paying for all expenses to temporarily raise it.
- The scoreboard must be completely unplugged in order to raise it.
- It will be raised by a crane that will only be there for the concert (so basically it is yanking the scoreboard up a few feet higher)
So in doing that, it isn't like Jerry will just be able to keep it there, the damn thing won't even work.
Also, the estimated cost for being able to raise the scoreboard from what I've been hearing on the radio: $2MM -- and I'm sure Jerry will want the NFL to pick up the tab on that if they do want it raised in 2010.
how great would it be if crabs didnt sign and re-entered the draft next year...only to be drafted again by the 9ers
