Wtf why would we get rid of Julian Peterson he was a beast. Is this defensive tackle very good, I have hardly heard about him at all. I'm a bit curious now if this means we won't be taking Raji in the draft, most predictions I saw had us taking him but if we are trading for a DT before the draft I'm curious... Housh+Crabtree? lol

Leonard Little, Travis Henry, Albert Haynesworth, Dante Stallworth, Jamal Lewis.....

    UT Alum are kicking ass.

If anyone didn't know, Travis Henry recently had twins. This takes his toll to 11 kids by 10 women. I have began to question his intelligence.....lol

Browns WR Stallworth hits, kills Fla. pedestrian

Browns WR Stallworth hits, kills Fla. pedestrian

By DAVID FISCHER, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 51 minutes ago

    AP - Mar 14, 2:40 pm EDT

MIAMI (AP)—Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth hit and killed a pedestrian with his Bentley on Saturday morning on a busy causeway linking Miami and Miami Beach, police said.

Stallworth was headed toward the beach when he hit a 49-year-old man around 7 a.m., said Miami Beach police spokesman Juan Sanchez. The unidentified pedestrian was taken to a nearby trauma center, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. He was near a crosswalk but it’s not clear if he was crossing legally.

Stallworth, 28, was cooperating and no charges have been filed, Sanchez said. Officers drew blood to test for drugs or alcohol, which is routine, but police said it was too early to tell if Stallworth was impaired or violating traffic laws. Police would not say where he was coming from or where he was headed.

Miami-Dade County property records show Stallworth owns two condos in a building on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami not far from the causeway and another condo in a different building in Miami.

A message seeking comment was left on the voicemail of his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

The Browns said in a statement they were aware of what happened.

“We understand the seriousness of this situation, but will not have any further comment at this time as this is an ongoing investigation,” the team said.

Stallworth signed a seven-year, $35 million contract with the Browns as a free agent before last season but hardly played because he was hurt. He was due a $4.75 million signing bonus Friday.

Stallworth, who previously played for New England, Philadelphia and New Orleans, finished last season with just 17 catches for 170 yards. He was slowed all season by a nagging hamstring injury and made just seven starts for the Browns.

Stallworth had his best season with the Saints in 2005, when he made a career-high 70 receptions for 945 yards and seven touchdowns. He was drafted in the first round (No. 13 overall) by the Saints in 2002. Stallworth played his college ball at Tennessee.

AP Sports Writer Tom Withers in Cleveland contributed to this report.

cory redding is overpaid hype, he was exposed last without shaun rogers there to pick up his slack. i hope your other dtackle is a beast otherwise you are better off with that 5th round pick than you are with redding. i still expect you guys to draft crabtree, housh is old and branch will need a hip replacement by week 3.

    Patriots, WR Galloway reach deal

Posted: News | NFL.com Staff | Tags: Joey Galloway, New England Patriots

NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi confirms that WR Joey Galloway has agreed to a deal with the New England Patriots.

Terms of the deal weren’t immediately known, and no official announcement was expected Saturday night.

Galloway, who has spent the past five years with the Buccaneers, fell out of favor with Tampa Bay in ‘08, starting four games and appearing in nine with 13 catches for 138 yards with no touchdowns. Prior to 2008, Galloway started 52 games over four seasons for the Bucs, turning in 1,000-yard seasons in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

In his 14 seasons in the league, Galloway has gone over the 1,000-yard plateau six times. Prior to Tampa Bay, Galloway spent four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and five with the Seattle Seahawks. For his career, Galloway has 682 catches for 10,710 yards and 77 touchdowns.

ESPN is saying we will probably take Curry. At this point, I'd be stoked if we took Curry, Crabtree, or even one of the O-Lineman. I heard a little bit about us possibly taking Stafford to groom as Matt's replacement but I really hope we don't do that, rather wait til next year for a QB.

Yeah I'd be pretty excited to see us take him, Tatupu is only like 25 so him + Curry for the next 6-8 seasons would be fucking hot. Plus Leroy Hill is pretty good as well, god our LB would be stacked. If Kerney could stay healthy and the secondary not horribly suck the Hawks could really have a good defense this year!

The chances of Curry slipping past the Chiefs that are desperate for LB help @ #3 overall is pretty slim. If he's still up, I'd only see them maybe considering getting Crabtree instead.

Need the LB help desperately, but an offense with D-Bowe+Crabtree+Tony Gonzalez+Mark Bradley would be rather awesome.

If the Seahawks are going to grab a QB to replace Hasselbeck anytime soon, this would be the year to do it. Would give Sanchez or Stafford some time to learn from the bench instead of tossing them right into the fire.

I don't know, everything I read about Stafford doesn't really impress me which is why I'd rather wait. With the Chiefs using their first pick on a LB last year I figured they would go elsewhere this year but who knows. I think the Seahawks have a definite chance of competing this year which is why I'd rather use our first pick on a player who might help produce this year rather than a QB to groom for the future.

Watch the Pats pick up Torry Holt as well, we should just change "NFL" to "The Patriots". God I hate this team with a passion.
