And Charles Rodgers!
I believe he said Carson was going to be a bust and Leftwich would've been the better choice.
His hair is magnificent, so it's all good brah
To be fair, Leaf was actually doing well for San Diego until the Chiefs Defense made him look like a joke. I also remember them wrecking another young QB that played for the Raiders out of USC in the 90's. Marichonov or some shit
Good times
Think about how many differences there would be had Indy taken Leaf. They would just now be recovering (TN would have won division every year instead of Indy), Reggie Wayne would have never developed, and Harrison would have good numbers for another team, but not HOF numbers. Oh, we wouldn't even know who Dallas Clark is most likely, and no black headcoach would have a superbowl ring.
KNOCK IT OFF!!!!!!
Repost of a repost of a repost.
I don't see how Peppers would translate well into a 3-4 OLB. He seems more of a fit as a 3-4 end with some extra pounds.
lol you right
He wants a 3-4 defense, many people said the same thing about Demarcus Ware, most notably Jerry Jones hence his wanted to draft Texas native lolCedric Benson.
He will do fine in a 3-4 defense. Fox and Trgovac misused him during his career here. He is a natural lefty but last season was the first time in 7 seasons he played LE seeing as how Mike Rucker held that down for 10 seasons. And you saw the numbers he posted playing in his natural stance. Imagine being forced to shoot NBA 3 pointers with your off hand cause your coach is an idiot.
Fox and Trgovac fucking rock!
Also, the "stiff" comment is kind of lolworthy. I mean really? He goes in coverage quite well actually lol not to mention he was a starter on the Tarheel basketball team. He dropped into coverage and covered backs and TE's quite a bit this past season and in seasons past.
That anonymous source is a moron and should watch more Panther games obviously.
Demarcus Ware also weighs 20 pounds less than Peppers and is 3 inches shorter. Asking a 260 pound LB to cover a TE or WR is a lot different than a 280+ LB that will be playing a completely different position. Did Carolina ask him to cover much?
Edit: Guess he has. Another thing is, do the Pats even have cap space to carry a deal like his?
