Demarcus Ware also weighs 20 pounds less than Peppers and is 3 inches shorter. Asking a 260 pound LB to cover a TE or WR is a lot different than a 280+ LB that will be playing a completely different position. Did Carolina ask him to cover much?

Oh yes all the time. When the Falcons still have Vick Peppers was a spy and had the speed to contain him from sideline to sideline. Remember the one hand interceptions, etc.... dont sleep on his speed lol, that is what makes him such a freak.

He actually lined up at TE for us his first 4 years in the league because of his vertical leaping and basketball background. Vick has said multiple times that Peppers is the one guys he hates to spy him in the backfield because he flies to the ball so fast.

Koyuki can verify that as well. You just have to watch him play to get the full effect.

Think about how many differences there would be had Indy taken Leaf. They would just now be recovering (TN would have won division every year instead of Indy), Reggie Wayne would have never developed, and Harrison would have good numbers for another team, but not HOF numbers. Oh, we wouldn't even know who Dallas Clark is most likely, and no black headcoach would have a superbowl ring.

And SD might actually have a super bowl ring by now D: AND LT/Brees likely would have ended up on different teams, given the impact Manning had coming out the gate. Dunno who would've been the #1 pick to trade little Manning off to NYG though.

You always got to see the best of Peppers when he was playing Vick, Watching those two fight it out was intense and I always loved watching it. Last couple of years though Peppers got into the "Ill show up when I want to show up" mood and it really hurt seeing someone with so much potential only show up a handful of games in the season.

I like it simply for this reason.... Fox and Hurney cant draft another Eric Shelton or Jason Peter with a super high high draft pick and have him out of the league in 2 season or cut in mini camp.Mind you, Fox and Trgo are the reasons he wants out in the first place.
