I've only been required to heal on Malygos twice ('cause I'm such a pro DPSer of course) but I believe it was as simple as changing the raid layout in Grid>Layout to "By Group 25/w Pets". For the longest time Grid was unable to differentiate between pets of the same name but it sorted it's shit out a few months ago.

I used to spend days tweaking and changing my UI... then quartz came along. I detest setting that addon up the way I like so much, that now I just download other peoples UI's and shit.

Like, right now I'm using Hal's UI... i LOVED caiths but needed more buttons visible. Been using Hal for so long now, maybe in 3.2 it'll be time for a change.

Everything is centered around EventHorizon so I can keep track of timers and deadly poison ticks while looking mainly at the center so I don't have to do much besides turn the camera to see the all the action on screen. In a somewhat ghetto fashion, I stacked some TellMeWhen icons on top of the EventHorizon icons so I have a numerical timer alongside the EH bar/tick counter and I don't have too much redundant info going on my screen.

Player frame to the left and Target frame above are pitbull4.

NugComboBar to track points, with another TellMeWhen box to let me know how many stacks of DP I have on target for Envenoms.

Is NugComboBar configurable to be a rectangle instead of a rhomboid?

I think it only has that, or dots.

I tried this myself today, too many errors/things that need fixing if you play in a different resolution than that player does. I play at a lower rez as my monitor doesn't support 1920 x 1200 or wahtever she has it so there was a lot of playing around. At the end I just said "fuckit" and used my own.

Now, I know it's only bg's and I've never heals an instance/raid yet but it seems I'm overhealing quite a bit, any tips to prevent this? I'm primarily just doing shields, penance, and greater heal when they are reallly low and the timer on penance is off. I do flash heal a bit but only when they are like 60%+ on hp. I'm not doing any renew's, should I? All tips are welcome, btw I'm disc!

By quite abit how much do you mean? It's normal to have about 50% of your heals as overheal since your crit heals will still stack divine aegis even as overheal. Imo swap greater heal with flash heal in your rotation (we do have improved flash heal talent!), to renew or not is your personal preference.
UI-wise, it's nice! That msbt font sticks out way too much from the rest of the fonts tho D:

It's normal for a healer class to overheal, Pallies will overheal by the greatest amount I've found, while druids have a low overheal rate. It's not a wrong thing unless you are just spamming heals on people who don't need it (like if they're at 90% hp and you used a gigantic cure).

Does anyone know what addon is used to change the font of player/NPC names like in this screenshot? Is it a Pitbull thing? >.>

Not sure about that guy, but I use ClearFont2 to accomplish the same thing.

You can also replace an entire font in the main font folder by renaming another font and dragging it in. Arial Narrow is the first go!

That's what I do too :D It's the best option imo cuz it saves you the hassle of getting another font addon, and whenever you select Arial narrow as your font in game it'll automatically use the renamed font so it keeps your UI font consistent.

Notes:

- Except for stuff like Seals, mounts and pots, I don't click anything.
- Stuff that looks like that doesn't have a key assigned to them are either handled by clique or an invisible action bar, I just have those there to see their cooldowns.
- I need a better way to show target buffs/debuffs without having it add more clutter on my screen lol. So far, I just use Quartz's debuff dealie for target debuffs, not really displayed here.
- That empty void on the bottom right is empty. I'm still messing around with what I should put there, probably a combat log like hitsmode. Not gonna move grid down there since the place where I put my grid is perfect for quick AoW FoL procs/Cleanses/BoP/Salv/DIing a healer so I don't have to run back. :D
