Also curious if that is post 3.2 and 3.2 compatible, if it is I would love a download lol.

I really don't feel like spending 5+ hours tomorrow and the next day setting up my UI. It's really only pitbull I don't ever want to setup, the rest of UI's are easy and no problem to me, but I cant STAND setting up pitbull and I pretty much hate all other unitframe mods lol.

Agreed, Boyiee, but thankfully i think i have things where I want them again. Only addons that are throwing errors at this point... that I miss anyway, is RatingBuster. Just giving somewhat annoying tooltip errors.

Otherwise, back up with Chinchilla, ArkInventory, Auctioneer, Carbo, and my graphic/UI mods like ButtonFacade, kgPanels, Bartender4, and PitBull4. Really thought it would be worse than it was, but a lot of the addons i use were fixed either in anticipation of 3.2, right after, or overnight.

Simple as I can. I hate clutter, this reduces it as much as I can while still getting as much info on my screen as I need. Yes, I know not having Hodir exalted is bad, but I quit for a long time, and never bothered finishing it on my DK (my hunter is).

Raid and party frames would be on the right side. Because I play DPS or tank, bars and names only, only goes out to about half of the chat window. Omen and Recount not shown, but obviously exist.

If I had a real pet (you can see I tried there), it would be an exact mirror of my target-of-target.

Big stuff that matters:
MSBT
TipTac
Pitbull4 (also its rune display, cause I like the way it looks)
Bartender4
Elkano Buff bars
Quartz
ForteXorcist (not just a lock mod, as I found out)
Fubar (does those texts in the bottom right box too)

I just recently redid my UI just a bit to update to pitbull4, but I've been using pretty much this same style for almost a year, I've yet to see anything that I like the way I like this one heh.

For those who have Apocalypse, yes, thats where I got the name for this toon. I also have a Grav'iton and an Aphmau

Looks like Interface > Objectives > Advanced quest tracking is turned on.

@Toxictaru - Ooh really nice concept there, love what you did making the minimap and fubar look like a neat panel.

@Amarok - The general layout is really good! But why do the fonts differ at some parts.. like the ToT bar and the cast bar? *twitch* Also I think recount would fit better into that panel if you had its backgrounds transparent.

Mine's pretty much finalized now, didnt break when 3.2 came thankfully xD .. only ratingbuster, grid, talented, and msbt needed fixing.

I'm finally 79 and figured I'd start tweeking my ui for 80. I like your setup in a lot of ways, could you give a list of the interface addons you use so I can mess around with them? O:

was thinking a target icon or something to that effect.

Thats a lot of buttons o.o my hunter uses 2 lines, even in raids lol.

I'd make the chat font smaller. Probably get rid of the bag bar (F12 is all you need!), bind like F7 to your key ring or something. That space next to your minimap could be a decent spot for Omen, if you're almost 80 and about to raid, Omen is handy. Get real unit frames!

well the reason for so many buttons is I use a g13 gamepad (<3<3<3<3) makes life much easier, but I've been able to make it so I only use the keyboard for typing purposes. Hence why I tend to macro anything I could need.

as for the bag bar I could def get rid of, I have bags macroed to the gamepad, didn't think of removing them though XD

I will check out omen, and which unit frames would you suggest?

xperl is easy to set up, but I've found isn't as configurable, and it looks the same as everyone else who uses the addon, so it makes it hard to look like your own. Pitbull is a bit harder to set up, but in the end tends to be more powerful and can be set up to look however you want, and is my personal preference. Grid is another option, pretty simple, but pretty powerful, tends to be the frames of choice for a healer.

The buttons make sense if you use said keyboard. I use a laptop, so I try to stay minimalistic.

I prefer my bags hidden, and ArkInventory is simply awesome as far as bag mods go. It broke on the first day of 3.2, and I was totally lost without it. Even the other bar, with the system info and your character stuff is worth turning off. Bartender can do that for you, also worth checking out if you haven't already.

This, a thousand times this.

I love X-Perl for its simplicity in setup and configuration. I hate that I can't make is look aesthetically unique. I keep meaning to sit down and drum up a "proper" Pitbull, but Pitbull takes a lot more to get set up, so I always end up setting aside after a while and saying I'll finish it later. It you don't really care, X-Perl all the way. If you're finicky about UI looks and more detailed configuration, Pitbull.

I d/l grid because I've used grid on WAR and next toon I'm lvling is going to be a restro druid...one question though. How do you get rid of the default wow party menu?

Couldn't agree more with Tox's suggestions. I have used X-Perl but am currently in love with Pitbull. I took Hellifiknow's UI and tweaked it a bit more. LOVE his Pitbull set up (can see it here if you like).

I prefer the Minimalist texture to the one he has, and a few other tweaks.

And yes... ArkInventory > All. I didn't realize how much i depend on it until it broke in 3.2. I had Bagnon for a bit but the GIANT BAG OF BAGNESS was just making me cry... so I fooked with the lua until Ark officially updated. I couldn't do without it.

Pitbull + Bartender + ArkInventory + kgPanels with my own tga's = Happy. The rest are just because I am obsessive with addons. I check WoWi and Curse... daily, many times.

Grid won't do it on its own. Try looking for something called HideBlizzard (I think thats it) or MoveAnything. MoveAnything is pretty easy to use and should hide it. Pitbull also does it, which is why I can't remember how to do it off the top of my head.

Once you get Grid up and running the way you like, you may still want to get pitbull. If you go with just grid and nothing else, you lose your own frame and thats a bit of a pain if you want to see important things like your mana/rage/etc.

Pitbull isn't TOO bad if you spend a bit of time with it. As I said before, I recently redid my UI and it took maybe an hour and a half to get it up and running the way I like. The problem is the absolutely monstrous amount of options you have at your disposal, so it can get more than a bit overwhelming. I found it easier to just break it down and think Party, Raid 10, and Raid25/40. Beyond that, you only really end up needing to configure target, focus, target of target (use this as focus target too, if thats your thing) and pets. Not TOO hard, but definitely overwhelming if you haven't done it before.

My problem with xperl was partly that it always looked the same as every OTHER xperl UI you see, but also that if you want to have a cohesive UI (which, come on, is the whole point, make it look nice), you end up with a bunch of stuff that looks cool, and then a big clunky xperl greenblackwhatever looking thing off to the side. But if you want quick and dirty while you figure something else out, it totally serves its purpose.

Pitbull takes 5 minutes to set up if you want it to look as shitty as X-Perl.
