Ah, I see, you're using Buffalo whereas I appear to have Buffalo3, which is more finicky. What do you do about the buff overflow in raids? In 25 man, it's not inconceivable to have more than 32 buffs at the same time.

I dunno I don't see options for that.

Arc I think i'm going to have to spend a day remaking your UI for myself. Mine is fairly similar anyways so it's just a case of recolouring/repositioning/resizing mostly. X-Perl is a pain in the butt though.

Repost it how it looks now then!? :3

I'd love to, but guild raids keep getting rescheduled or canceled and I was too busy doing other things to join a PUG. If people log in soon, we'll continue with ICC25 and we'll see what we see.

I'm trying Quartz yet again and hating it less, but I really find it awkward to track debuffs near my casting bar. It doesn't display positive buffs on hostile targets, though, so I feel like I'm forever fighting back and forth. This is why I stick with target frame auras, but meh.

I tried Pitbull but I couldn't get it to work how X-Perl works. Maybe I suck but... hang on lemme see if the settings are saved.

Basically the first SS is how my player, target, target of target, focus and focus target look.

This picture is how Pitbull shows it. The circles are things I don't want but if I remove "auras" it'll remove it under the target and ToT's.

Don't even bother with Pitbull. Actually, except that it doesn't unify aesthetically with your UI and that it gets wonky with vehicles right now, X-Perl is just fine. But if you really want to make an aesthetic change, Shadowed Unit Frames will do what you need. Plan to spend some time with it, though, but that's true of any unit frame mod.

You need to make a new layout for each frame with Pitbull4. After you do that and set each frame to its own layout, you can control which ones have auras and which don't (among other things). For example in my shot:

    http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/c...310_004518.jpg

My player frame on the left has it's layout and shows no auras at all, and only shows my energy bar and energy count. The target frame on the right also has its own layout and shows only a set number of buffs/debuffs and highlights my own debuffs in green, while showing only the health bar and combo points. I can see why most people find pitbull a pain in the ass because it has A LOT of options that you pretty much are required to tinker with when forming a UI.

How can you read all of that text without even a translucent background? Admittedly, I'm already halfway to blind as it is (farsighted with some astigmatism), but that hurts to look at.

The text is mostly aesthetic to bring the UI together in his. He isn't reading all of it, or really much of any of it.

To me though, the HP bar of player/target would get annoying. I tried an almost identical setup but was getting owned in PVP cause I didn't notice my health. I'll post mine when I get home, HUGE FUCKING HEALTH BARS are awesome lol.

Yep. I don't PVP at all, both my specs are PVE so I don't even have a health bar showing, just the number. I don't have control over my own health, so I don't see the necessity in having a bar for it. When I'm in a raid, the only things I have to look at are my CP, energy count, my own abilities/CDs/debuffs, and boss abilities, all of which I've placed around the center of the screen because I prefer to not have to look all over the place.

ICC10 pickup today... spanked the first four bosses, but tanks were undergeared for the last three, so unfortunately we had to stop there. Frustrating, but such is life and, really, I don't need to be bleeding edge. All of which is largely irrelevant, but this is what my UI looks like after all the input received here.

Incidentally, since I know someone said something about Power Auras and the scrolling combat text, I rely on the auras to tell me when I have a proc buff (gonna have to write one for my new Ashen Band of Unmatched Destruction) which is particularly important for Shadowfiend which scales with spellpower. The combat text is to get an eyeball on my damage, but it also gives me cooldown warnings.

Unrelated to the UI talk itself (nicely done btw, much improved), but

I'm not a shadow priest but I've always been of the impression that if you have dps boosters like that, you lose more than you gain by waiting for specific procs to summon them, rather than just summoning them at specific intervals (burn phases or even just whenever it's off CD), unless said buffs are something you can 100% make happen with a single click.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice when it all lines up like that, but I've never been one to wait for such occasions.

To be honest, I don't wait, but it's nice to know that when I throw my Shadowfiend out to attack a boss, it has Lightweave and/or Shadowy Insight (proc from Glyph of Shadow) active. You're right, it's better to get it out than sit around waiting on procs, but at the start of a fight, it's pretty much guaranteed that Lightweave will proc and I crit often enough that Shadowy Insight is likely to be up. I don't have a proc watch, but the uptime on Shadowy Insight is fairly high.

Oh, and the auras remind me when I have a full stack of Shadow Weaving. My opener ensures I will, anyhow, but every so often you get smacked with something like Veil of Shadow or some other pushback AoE and that kills a tick of my opening Mind Flay.

It looks like the timers from ForteXorcist, though it could probably be from one of several mods. Why not list what you're using to try to figure it out?
