I don' look at my combat log, I don't really know why I would? Also, I can't really do much with my action bars or they'd be really small. I tried pitbull3 and it was terrible for my portrait and HP/RP bar thing, I guess I could try Xperl again or something.

If you don't even look at your combat/chat log, then you really don't need that much space. Cut down the height of your bottom mess and compress your buttons.

As for that Objective thing, Knyghtmayre, that's from the base UI quest tracking. No clue what the fuck it's doing over there, though.

I like at my chat log, just not my combat log. I guess you guys were implying the same thing?

Kinda sorta. Unless you make them separate windows (as many people do), their size is tied to one another. I tend to refer to the whole thing as the combat log even though I never look at the combat tab, so my apologies for being unclear. If you really use all that space for reading your chat log, then that's what works for you. I'd still trying to find some way to consolidate all that empty space in your buttons, though, but I don't have any stand-out suggestions.

Oh, and do you guys actually use your micro bar? It's all Esc, M, C, N, Y, etc., for me, so I just took the whole silly thing away.

I know I'm like, waay behind here, but someone was trying to figure out where Rothsquare comes from- pretty sure it's packaged in SharedMedia, no? (Pretty sure that's where I got mine from, though I refuse to update now since I have some custom stuff in it I don't feel like re-finding again).

Well, if you want to customize your map and mess around with the buttons on it, SexyMap does the job very well. Even if you just want a square map with no frills, it handles buttons rather nicely. I have all of my buttons hidden except for my dungeon finder and mail indicators (note: dungeon finder button does not seem to want to move right now) until I hover over my map.

Minimap on the top left is set to auto-hide when I go into combat, not sure why it wasn't hidden when I slapped the dummy. I'm currently looking to replace my runes addon, but I've grown so used to it since I've been using it since WoTLK closed beta :<

ezeks ui is probably the most useful ui out of anybodys, thats how i have mine set up essentially. extremely efficient and it doesnt have to be remarkably pretty like a lot of others have theirs set up.

Is there some addon somewhere that organizes minimap buttons?

I use Minimap Button Frame (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ttonFrame.html). If you want to see other ways to have it configured (without the fugly border box thing) let me know, I think I have a screenie with it being used somewhere.

Found one for reference's sake- it's under the toolbar in the upper left-hand corner. You can config it to show whichever buttons you want.

Anyone know of a map addon that will let me adjust the color of unexplored areas, and also display my gatherer info? Cartographer isn't being updated anymore apparently. I have enough alts that being able to turn foglight into a transparent different color is a must-have for me, so I can see unexplored areas, and also know where I haven't explored. D:

Relying on the map to find out where you haven't explored is bad anyway, many places that count for the exploration achievement don't reveal fog areas because they're small points of interest. Just use the achievement tracker and wowwiki to find the areas you need.

anyone know of a good place to check out UIs, with the settings files there as well?

i need to work on mine, but have zero time - and i know that you can save the config files and just copy them to carry over settings from one comp to another. just curious if there's anywhere like this, as i'm lazy and don't feel like reinventing the wheel again.
