$50-$70 is a lot for half a keyboard; with most of my binds already taking up the left half of one of these:

it feels like I'd lose a whole row of keys with a nostromo and more with the g13. So, what's the real advantage? Surely not the little joystick at the thumbrest?

I tend to bind the right side of my keyboard (7-0 and everything underneath it) to out of combat stuff like mounting, buffs, food, etc.

How do you figure? I got three sets of rows with the g13 and then all the extra stuff (bags/ palli buffs/pet controls/etc) on the sides.

I could create more rows if I got rid of some of the extras but that's all I needed so I never bothered.

edit:

I think if I wanted to I could create about 12 rows fairly easily, but they couldn't be toon specific that way.

You can do whatever you want with the keys, they're all reprogrammable to any button combination or macro you choose.

You can do whatever you want with the keys, they're all reprogrammable to any button combination or macro you choose.

I use the alt and control buttons to add the extra two rows of macros to make 3.

I accidentally lied in my last post btw. I could in theory make 9 rows not 12. Those m1, m2, and m3 buttons (I thought there was 4) open up a whole new set, so in theory they could be pushed to access more rows. But I've never needed that much.

I will say again they aren't for everyone. You definitely need patience to get used to them. (took me about two weeks to really get the keys right and feel comfortable). It is awkward at first using the joystick instead of wasd. (and I got fucking tiny hands no joke, to get an idea when I got my engagement ring sized it was a 3 1/2) But once I did get the hang of it it became so much easier than a keyboard, because my fingers are much more centralized (not needing to move my arm at all) that I can't imagine not having it.

I like to resize mine depending on how much of the screen I want it to take up (i.e. how far down the list am i >.> ). Usually small for 5's, then pull it out for 10s/25s

I'm having a slight problem with my UI, it's hard to show it in a screenshot but I'll try.

Basically the problem I'm having is some of my menus are slightly transparent. Character sheet, skills/rep/currency, everything. I don't know if an addon is doing this or what. It's most obvious in this screenshot where you can see through the menu buttons, they should be solid. Anyone have an idea? Will probably post this in Random ? thread as well.
