Heres my UI... only thing wrong is I messed up the damn FPS thing at the bottom of the screen under my action bars.. its overlapping my MS thing.. w/e
I skipped the 2nd page, but, I'm wondering..
I've been using xperl for years, aguf and pitbull look almost exactly the same, visibly, what's the difference? Is there really even one to begin with?
anyway:

Pitbull is a little more customizable as far as what it can show you and such I think; it lets you change a lot of behaviors on each individual frame, and gives you different behavioral modes for solo/party/raid even on identical frames within those modes (So like on solo mode you can see target debuffs, but on raid mode you can't, or things of that sort).
Pitbull supports a library called DogTags, which is basically a markup langauge that grants full control over the text as it appears in the unit frame. DogTags can do some pretty nifty magic demonstrated in this E-J thread:
The DogTags 3.0 Thread - Elitist Jerks
I don't know if xperl has an equivalent expression library at its disposal.
pittbull is 1000000x more customizable, your xperl always looks the same, where pitbull frames can look like anything you really want.
The post above yours has pitbull for example, my post at the bottom of the last page also, my post on the first page. Completely different than what you use.
Yours is more of an all-in-one. It has buffs and all those things in it already, where I use seperate addons for that. Pitbull can be a BITCH to setup, xperl is quick and easy.
Do UI's settings reset when a big update happens? 3.1 apparently started and my resolutions/video settings are back to default making my UI ugly.
I miss WoW so much just for the ability to customize UIUsed to spend hours a week changing it up hahaha
Aimed Shot if applicable. >.>
Misdirection... if thats still going lol. That should always be spammed when cd.
Hunters have no excuse not to have a minimal ui, enjoy the game and the fights rather than having huge buttons and massive unit frames. Maybe exception for pvp, then again you should be hotkeying everything important.
Nah... MD is pretty useless after the initial pull pretty much.
You can't explosive shot a MD its buggy... (and tends to make the mob come at you even if you wait for all 3 procs of it)
If auto shot+ aimed shot + steadyshot all crit in a row fully buffed its about 12K threat. Average is like 4-6K threat at most, its pretty pointless to use after a pull unless the boss has some form of threat reset mechanic.
Once people start dpsing and get debuffs etc on a boss, that kinda of threat is overtaken within 2-3 seconds easily in the 30sec cooldown of a MD, that and naxx 25man geared tank "should" be pulling an average 4-5TPS on their own anyway. Well I know atleast on druid 9which seems to have the lowest overall TPS output generation compared to pally/warrior) can get 50,000+ tps over anyone else in raid within 2-3min of a fight excluding hunters that are well geared /feign
MD isn't really a debuff. It would be used a lot more though if it had no GCD, but that was why it was only really used at pull when I raided (TBC). It just didn't benefit the hunter, tank, or raid. The only time we used it over the entire fight was during Gruul where DPS versus time was important and the tank couldn't build threat through out the entire fight due to getting stoned and punted. And he had to stay #1 and #2 had to stay #2 or else the fight went to hell... Later on when everyone was SSC+ gear it wasn't such a big deal.
Other than that, you only used MD for pulling or initial boost in threat since the tank had no rage to start building it right away. Feign death is the only ability outside damaging ones that should be used on every cooldown, at least during the first 1-2 minutes of the fight since Hunters were able to forget about the threat. Just make sure to not overtake the tank in total threat.
So pissed.
I accidentally updated my SharedMedia folder I've had since Deigo linked me his copy chock full of cool textures, borders and fonts. So now all of it is gone and now my UI looks like trash with all the missing shit. I feel like re-building a new UI from the ground up and thank goodness I have nothing planned raid-wise until Tuesday.
/rage
Anyone happen to have the artwork for Duke's UI?

Anyone know what addons are used to show the chat text in those boxes and the text that tells you your ap, no mail, bags, gold, fps, etc..? Also, I assume his raid window is from pitbull?
That's SLDT for the AP/Mail/Bags/Gold etc.
And yes, every player frame on the screen is Pitbull with Hal's skins I believe, including raid.
The chat text in boxes can be done with eepanels, or KGpanels, Hal uses KGpanels in this UI.
I use HalUI so I should know this.
Omen pops up left of the chat frame.
