I thought it was 15 to post in Advanced, and 30 to make topics in Advanced? Yeah. I sense a reset to 1 coming real soon.

Oh, I have this fantastic idea. Let's just take over this thread, make it the official NFL thread, and we'll have a 400 page NFL sticky.
As long as we weed out the other garbage within the thread that's not related to the NFL, I'm all for it.
Lol nice. Okay I'll pose the first question. Which team do you think will sign Pacman Jones?
It's being done probably for aesthetic reasons and sandy vags that don't like sports. Only Logistical reference made was getting a new mod to prune sports threads. Sonomma has posted in other threads since this has been announced. So the fact that he hasn't replied makes it a really safe bet that this isn't up for discussion until he does.
If you can show me a topic about a show (Heroes for example) that's had enough posts in it after one week to warrant it's own thread every week, then I'll buy into that, but until then, I won't. We get ten+ pages a week in our NFL threads EASY. Hell, we almost get ten+ pages before the games even air. Heroes gets about 2-4 pages a week, depending. Even less as of late considering the show's been rather bad.
Seriously though. Comparing shows that get one topic per season compared to sports like the NFL (which is what this whole thing is really about) is completely silly.
Yeah, you haven't read the thread. Other issues of logistics posed were the placement of sports related information that has nothing to do with season discussion (such as fantasy discussion, off season rumors, sports without seasons, sports related news, etc). I don't think a mod has anything to do with logistical concerns, although I guess you could make a semantics argument to contend it does.
Have any of you actually PM'd Sonomaa and made sure he's not just, you know, busy?
You talking about Rocl's Post? I've read it. You should probably read it again too. Then read the Spam topic where he talks about trolling without knowing he's trolling. He's was pretty effective at it too.
Anyway if you read my first post on this topic you would see I don't care if there is to many sports topics I really don't click on any aside from the occasional Baseball thread.
Heh, first i fail at reading comprehension, now trolling. Also my purpose here is because I actually post in the thread being discussed, and I wont lie, me reading through peoples posts about fixs/solutions and seeing it 'not bothering you' and 'not caring' is irritating, so yeah, i took it upon myself to say something to you.
cake bitch almost ruined it for you, but yes, Ive been very busy recently. If you hadnt noticed the bar that was hanging out on the top of the forum with notices on it, and the multiple threads I had to check on an hourly basis, the money that needed to be managed as well as the mass of questions, IMs, PMs, and that one dude on MSN who keeps trying to flirt with me (CREEPY AS FUCK OMG).
After reading several of tyches well thought out comments and ignoring the mass amount of trolls and post count bumps people have been doing, Im going to go ahead and rescind this. You can have your weekly posts, however I will need a representative to be given moderation privledges to keep things clean and orderly. That means the same topic title, just adjusted per week (and dated so people know). Have the old threads locked once the next weekly thread goes up to prevent old topics getting bumped over new, provided the discussion of it is over.
Also, one thing I noticed going on in MANY of the threads was comments about plays no one could follow, "nice catch" "nice hit" "wow awesome". If I dont know what game you are talking about, or its a mass quote with an lol at the end of it. There has been massive amounts of, even in this thread, trolling and post bumping, and that doesnt add anything valuable to the forum. So, discuss amongst yourselves who will be the best to represent the NFL community and Ill give them mod privledges to work only with NFL threads.
If you pick someone stupid, I will be very displeased, intelligent people only.
I'm guessing considering he called me cake bitch, I'd be under the stupid category.
