Must not like sports that much, why doesn't that shit make your day?
Spams end is near.... think of it as natural selection if you will. It's his will, sorry.
This.
Hell, we had 5 threads at least in Advanced just about the stupid bannings. One thread a week in football season doesn't hurt anyone. It's not like people are required to read every thread. I don't read 75% of the threads on the forum because they don't interest me but I don't whine that they're there either.
Natural selection? This ain't no darwinism man, this here is divine selection and I choose spam.
Sports can be dissected a lot. If it is decided that sports should not be discussed at all here then so be it. If it should be allowed then maybe it should be given its own section and not limited given the amount of interest by the members....and me. lol
I really doubt it's because of thread count. SPam would have to be the first to go if that were the case. There's more useless shit there in one day than an entire year of all of sports. I'd imagine it's a clutter issue. I think Sono's idea is fine, but it just doesn't make logistical sense for NFL with the popularity. What about MMA, it doesn't have seasons. It also raises other questions about the BG contests (the multiple fantasy and pick-em contests), and where they belong. Is it an offense to make a new thread for NFL season of fantasy? What about NCAA/March Madness contests vs their discussion threads? Two seperate? The competitions won't attract many users if they are cluttered and lost in a 250-300 page thread of the NFL season. Just a lot of logisitcal issues they need to iron out before enforcing the rule. Personally, Sub FOrum is fine for me, or leave it how it is.
No worries Tyche, if Pitt hangs on vs Uconn the invasion begins at dawn.
Invasion?
I'll hold all ya'll bitches by myself.
Your idea of quality isn't something to be relied upon, don't test me son.
If you had to some how lower your amount of threads created, what reasonable person wouldn't prune the most useless SPAM inducing forum first? Whats the average post count to one spam thread vs one sports thread? If you are lowering the amount of threads, you have to axe the bullshit first.
Things are not equal here; Most sports have more than one game on TV per week. There is far more to discuss than a tv show by sheer volume of information alone.
Subsection would be a better plan, long-term, if admins are that sick of the sports threads in General. I won't want to peruse spam for sports talk.
Because bitching on spam about forgetting to do your homework on the first chapter is so much more important...Isn't there a whole forum you can troll in so this one can actually be used to provide a workable solution. Trolling this section is probably hurting your cause more than helping it...unless your cause is just to troll =/
