New HNMLS forming, looking for veteran players [MIDGARD SECRET'S OUT LOLOLOL]

Alright, here's the deal. I'm making an HNMLS really soon and I've already got a good core of members(old friends) that will be joining alongside me. We have a good idea of the server that the LS will be on, but haven't made a firm decision. This is directed at people of all servers, so that shouldn't be too important. I'm looking for some experienced members to get the LS rolling.

This LS WILL do practically everything, including kings, tiamat, ixion, sandworm, dynamis, limbus, sea, and the occasional sky. Salvage, however, will not be an LS event, as it is best with 7-8 people max. There will hopefully be several smaller groups within the LS though; personally, I will be running a salvage group. Salvage must not conflict with any camps or events going on in the LS. ALL events WILL be 100% required. RL takes precedence, however skipping will not be tolerated.

This will be a 24/7 hnmls, meaning ideally we will camp around the clock. I'm hoping for a close, tight-knit group of people so that we can be in contact outside of game in the event that people are needed for something when they're not online, but available. People aren't expected to camp Tiamat 24/7, etc., but they will be rewarded accordingly for things of that nature. I want motivated people that are willing to put time into the LS.

This LS will not use a points system. It will be a /point system, meaning the leaders will decide who lots based on attendance, attitude, and a number of other factors. This LS will be starting fresh, so obviously everyone will start out at the same level. Most importantly, if you put in time and effort, you will be rewarded. I'm looking for veteran members, or members with enough experience in endgame that they know what they're doing. I will not teach you how to get to DA or how to fight Fafnir, I expect people to know things like this. I don't expect everyone to know everything about the game and it's mechanics, but frankly I don't want inexperienced people that will be asking tons of questions.

Most events will be EST time zone based, probably around 7 PM EST ish. Of course, there will be HNM's all throughout the day that we will camp as well. This LS will use ventrilo, and it won't be required but it will be extremely helpful if you can use it because there will probably be a lot of members on it. I have some expectations of applicants but I'm not going to outline everything I expect people to have before they apply yet. As I said before, I'm looking for experienced people so don't waste your time if you aren't. This LS already has a core of veteran players that know the game inside-out.

This is a chance for people to start fresh in a new LS and be on the same level as everyone else. It will have high expectations but that's what it'll take to get things accomplished. A little background info about me, but I'm sure a lot of people that browse BG know me. I used to be in Demo LS, led it for a bit, eventually got bored of the game and quit. Sold my account(lolrmt), playing on a different account now. That's negligible though, I'm the same person, I know my shit, and I know how to lead an LS and get things done. I have my reasons for not returning to Demo, but I won't discuss that here because that's not what this post is about. Do not get me wrong at all, it is cool that you are willing to make a fresh link shell and give some players an opportunity to get back on the end of game scene.

However, the down side of all this is that in any given day, you can get bored from the game and decide to quit, and in the process of your actions, you will be screwing a lot of players.

Please do not think this an attack towards you or your link shell; the reason for my post is that I do not want to see people that I know to get screw over by you.

That's the only time I've ever(by choice) quit, let alone taken a break from the game. I was one of the most hardcore players on ffxi, played all day every day for 4 years. I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish, and what I didn't was more than I felt like doing. I have a lot to work towards now, I'm more motivated than I've been in years since I haven't been back to the game long, and I'll be here for a long time. Take it for what you will, but I wouldn't be starting an LS to quit the game shortly after. Those who know me know that I'm a hardcore player and I'm sure they saw it coming from a mile away that I was going to quit. I got really bored with things. Dominating the server for a couple years is fun, but eventually gets a little old if you play 24/7. Being away from the game for a month or 2, I've been loving the game since I came back! I don't take any offense; valid concern, but I assure you I'll be around for a long time lol.

Linkshell will be on Midgard! I've already made it, name is Persistence. I'm gonna work on getting some tod's and getting schedules worked out. Looking like dynamis wednesday/sunday at 7 pm est, and limbus monday/thursday at 7 pm est, then einherjar after maybe or vice versa. This isn't set in stone though, I'll have to see. I'm setting up a vent server so if people are seriously interested you can come talk. Looking to get some people to start transferring within the next few days or atleast the next week so we can get things rolling asap.

Few people said it was pretty good, and they all looked decent but nothing stood out to be all that great, they all seemed good enough. The deciding factor of the few servers was that I could change my name back to Clynt here
