Irony:
Starting a TV station to counter negative muslim stereotypes, and then falling right into the stereotype.

Pity she wasn't a bit more headstrong.
All these points are fucking moot. It was God's will.
If only they were in Texas.
Sadly this is applied to all other things. It just like those professional psycologist always fail to solve their own problems, or some one who always show up in tv program or writes alots of books to teach ppl how to handle their family problem, but they usually end up has bad familty relationship on themselves.
Or it's like Ex-Governor Spitzer.
I wonder if she knew ahead of time if the relationship was heading for trouble.
Yeah, im sure there are a lot of painful ways to die...but i could never imagine being angry enough to cut off someone's head...geez....show some mercy at least....
What did the weapon say to the wife's body? You stay here, I'll go on ahead.
Looks like the headless horseman has some competition now.
I'm sure the guy probably wasn't head over heels about turning himself in but he understood he was headed for more trouble if he didn't.
I just went to a lecture last night called "Particular Truths in a Pluralistic World" on my campus and it featured a Christian, a Jew and a Muslim discussing religious tolerance. They proposed that the first step in achieving international peace is achieving peace between religions. The Muslim speaker, Dr. Rashied Omar, said something that stuck out and that was "a text is only as moral as its reader" in response to an audience question about the repeated use of the term "infidel" in the Qur'an.
Probably mostly irrelevant, but this topic reminded me of that quote, and if more people followed that line of thinking, ignorant rednecks wouldn't be calling radio stations and calling for a ban on Islam. Just saying.
