What was the exploit that they fixed anyway?
Yes, thank you, we can read.
It's very vague.
Vague? Are you serious lol? Anyways whatever.
YouTube - TF2 Exploit: The Soldier has the Pyro's weapons!
One class can use a different classes weapons. Is that simple enough?
Thank you Captain Obvious. All the update notes provided were "Classes using the wrong weapons," I was asking for specifics.
Yeah, I was serious. Obviously classes were using incorrect weapons, I was curious as to the specifics (I haven't played the game in months, and even then, it was on 360 so I wasn't privy to the PC community). Thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out when I get home.
They broke my achievement hack![]()
Still working here, friend used it yesterday since he just transferred from Xbox 360 to PC and didn't want to have to get all the achievements all over again.

You people really need an achievement hack?![]()
Oh, well in that regard I completely agree. First time I ever did all the achievements on the 360. It was a bitch to get, but then when I ported to the PC version since I heard it was better by light years. I decided I'm NOT going to have to go through this all over again lol.
But yeah, people using it just to skimp over the achievements is really dumb. Alot of my first-time playing experience and skill/tip-gaining from TF2 actually came from the achievements. Hell I never knew Pyro + Heavy could kill with their taunts till I did that achievement back in the day.
Most people don't give a shit about achievements, couple that with you have to get them to get the new weapons that people want to play around with and they'll just cheat to get them so they don't have to waste time doing a bunch of monotonous shit just to get their new items. I cheated the 3 milestone achievements for Heavy because it's extremely rare for me to play him. Can still unlock the actual achievements as I play so I can feel like I accomplished something, but I wanted to play around with the new stuff too. The achievements should be nothing more than a number, not a requirements to get the new weapons. But I understand some people want to feel like they've accomplished something when they finally unlock them.
Well I think Valves Idea of implementing them into TF2 is a learning process with rewards. As I mentioned above, alot of the achievements teach you things you may/may not know about the game beforehand. Once completed so many times in repetition, your rewarded.
But yeah, look at L4D. It pretty much does nothing in terms of rewards. But its one of those things you just say "I've did that".
