RR dispelled

So.. I lost RR today at some point in Ein. I think the wamoura but it might of been voidsong. Has anyone else seen something like this before?

I checked the logs after it happened, dragon didn't take RR off. It was probably wamoura. Has anyone else seen this happen before?

Was it the spell RR or an enchantment item? I know entering some BCs will remove the spell RR, but the enchantment RR will remain. That might explain why it was dispelled.

Proboscis can dispel (or drain?) buffs.

Yeah, it must have been Proboscis, which drains buffs instead of technically "dispelling" them

Someone said in some other thread that Iriz Ima stole his RR with Voracious Trunk too, which is the same deal I guess

Seeing as I've never personally experienced it, does a mob that absorbs reraise actually reraise when dying?

Dragons in einherjar can definitly dispel reraise with voidsong still. Took mine twice last einherjar, from a reraise pin. Oddly enough though, it missed my mule both times, with reraise spell. I would assume it's a glitch where sometimes it will dispel it, but it probably isn't meant to.

lol, similar thing's happening to a LS mate of mine, in every single CoP dynamis since the patch he's had his RR from the hairpin removed when SJs unlock but if he uses a Reraiser single-use item it stays. Everyone else's RR from pin/gorget/earring stays on just fine so of course we didn't believe him and bitched at him so he SS'd it the next run we did. So yeh the system's definitely not perfect, there's another guy in LS as well that I remember saying about his hairpin RR going as well occasionally.

AFAIK, reraise from a spell can get dispelled. If it is from an item it can't. I suppose it is still possible that somethings will dispel reraise from items though.

Gonna have to go with Zantes on this one since I have seen this before where I have had my reraised dispelled 2-3 times. Have yet to see it get wiped when I use a RR hairpin...though I am sure it is possible as well...which sucks bawls ; _ ;

Last night we fought the Psycheflayer, it hit Reprobation (that's the name, right? it's just AoE for this one) at about 9%. My RR was still up.

Two weeks ago we fought the Psycheflayer, and I remember Reprobation multiple times, RR was the only buff that stayed up (excluding Sanction).

Dracula did in the assault, but it was like a player rr and only gave him minimal hp back. Other than that, I don't know.

It wasn't always like this, but from what I remember it was one of the last 2 updates that changed this.

Yes, I know that my RR has been dispelled also by fighting wamouras, it's a bitch when soloing on BLM

The December 9th update was supposed to have removed RR being dispelled.

The Reraise effect granted by certain spells and items will no longer be removed by magic and abilities such as Dispel and Voidsong.

But it seems, as you guys are reported, that's not the case. How disappointing.

Yeah it's just every so often it'll just get knocked off, big pain but not as bad as it used to be.
