Aurum Sabatons vs Homam Gambieras

For DRG (assume well geared) Ignore the fact that Homam gives 50hp to wyvern for HB's

Simply melee wise what would you consider to be a better peice to use. Please explain why.

Homam -3%haste 6acc Aurum- 2%haste 5acc 5att 3dex

anyway aurum > homam for jobs that doesnt require HP or MP

eg. even aurum stats is better for a DRK, but i will still stick to homam because it gives me HP and MP(the HP is part of my zerg setup too and im lazy to bring both boots)

statistically homam are better than aurum in most reasonable accuracy and pdif situations, the hp and mp are just a bonus

aurum are good for apoc drk spamming cata since they don't need as much gear haste

I disagree, Homam > Aurum.

1% Haste vs 5att and 3 Dex.

Both pretty much have same Acc becuase of the Dex on Aurum, I really doubt that 5 att and 3 Dex will come anywhere close to 1% Haste.

For me since I have Homam, Homam >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pee boots. If I didn't have either then I would pick which was easiest to get. Someone who has more free time than me can do the math to see if 5atk wins out of 1% haste in the long run.

If you're a DRG then Homam unless you seriously want your Wyvern's Breath attacks to suck more then by all means, wear them piss covered boots.

I roll in 5/5 Aurum (and no, that's not parade cuirass I'm wearing).

IMO Homam > Dusk+1 > Aurum for anything approaching a decent party (e.g. you're getting marchx2 & haste). Each % haste you're away from 25% gear haste is a hit in damage you probably can't overcome with the other stats.

If you're soloing, then Homam for stronger healing breaths.

Homam > Aurum, the only exception is a DRK with apocalypse, speed belt, dusk gloves +1, ace's helm. Good luck.
