Same with magic skills. I have every mage job at 75, and currently working on BLU. I would kill to be able to merit all my magic skills.

I was thinking of that also. I'd love to Cap Enhancing, Elemental, Divine & whatnot. They wouldn't really break anything in the game with this seeing as even tho the skills will carry over to other jobs, the difference at best would be a low level sch nuking harder then a BLM of the same level etc.
