No, the reporter in that story said "This may not even be his real name" right in the article, page 2 or 3.

/b/'s detectives stalked him and spammed a couple threads showing where his house is, his real name and his mom's name. I'm pretty sure that everyone that did it got permabanned if it was true, but it may have just been trolling.

And now I'm getting a filtered /b/ ("Hey come check this out it's so funny") some of that stuff is pretty well done too (I'm a particular fan of slowpoke combos, idk why but I find that thing hilarious). Honestly , 4chan has given us some great lulz. I would like for them to get actual advertising to make more money than just barely making it. All in all, /b/ /v/ /wg/ /ck/ are the boards I frequent.

the main reason he cant turn a profit with 4chan is mainly because alot of websites have blackballed 4chan in the past due to the old lolita board this includes websites like *Yahoo* *Paypal* that would refuse to have anything to do with 4chan, however there is no more lolita board he might have a chance, now its just nothing but dicks everywhere which is a little bit better i would think in acceptability

I partially agree, but you underestimate the fastidiousness of corporate advertising, because we all know how rigidly sensitive Americans are when comes to sex and child porn. Most advertisers don't want regular looking boobs on the sites they place their ads, much less boobs with dick nipples.

We are not the most sexually repressed. A lot of parents are just living in the illusion that they can prevent their kids from seeing anything remotely carnal. I blame the influence of conservative religious values. But that's besides the point.

for the most part, i tend to think of the internet as this big ass black hole. everything gets sucked into it. and how long has the internet been in existence? since 70s you say but i would say mainstream since 1990s, so 20 years. it's still a very very very young entity.

if any of you remember stileproject.com, that was for me where it got freaky. i saw everything. this was in 1996-98? then i realized, this is life, the world brought to me in seconds. this was a blog. to me it was interesting to see how the world was viewed by others around the world.

To say it's society's fault it's oversimplifying. As I recall, the complains against Janet was based on the argument that there were kids watching the superbowl. How are you disagreeing with the fact that some parents don't want their kids to see ordinary body parts and that their sense of decency is mainly aligned with their religious value?
