I'm not going to spend serious effort replying to an anonymous person(sup Tinaa). I will not deny botting, but I can honestly say that we do not have anything called "nasa". Last week we were being accused of having a bot called "cel" (or maybe it was "sel").

To further prove how misinformed you are, 200m gil would be at least $6000 which is enough to buy 2 copies of Nasa(if this thread is correct).

We were not "decimated" by the banhammer, and the characters that were banned are now playing on characters that our linkshell already had access to(which pertains to my main point).

The reason I am responding is to shatter any hope you might have that there might be a world without Exodus. The core group of Exodus is made up of very good friends who have been longer than Remora has been a server. The reason we are spamming ground now is to make up for some of what was lost. We were ranked 4th on ffxiah previously, and have a long ways to go but we are doing just fine. The irony is that the bannings hurt your linkshell more than it hurt ours because you are QQing while we are still having a good time.

The STF will not be able to save you. We have access to tons of accounts because a lot of our friends and members that have quit through the years left us with their IDs. While I am not morally opposed to purchasing accounts, the danger with purchasing an account is that it can be taken back. The banned players could get banned many times over, and we would still be able to get new characters for them to play and continue on.

You seem to have some hope that we will go away, but the only way you will get to be in a world without Exodus is to either quit the game or transfer to a different server. We were here the first day the server was opened, and we will be here the day that it closes.

Guess i hit a nerve huh?But lets be real Devek u guys lost like over 10 relics and when the banhammer hit lost another 10 people that went to Velefor,you recruited a bunch of people from Snow LS,and use Cidsama ,Natalya,Syphre,and a few others to claim now.Funny thing is Exo have been camping Kings for months now and would get maybe 1 faf every 2 weaks and 1 nid every 2 months or so now they everything in site with less members lolol.

Fact is we found out whats going on cause a)People that left your LS told everyone.

Or, here is a crazy thought... Maybe Square should look at how these bots work to either figure out a way to detect them to ban the people who use them, prevent them from working, sue the people who make them, or preferably all of the above.

This is not possible. As you can make a bot from your router if you wished. If you scan it you can easy find the right data your looking for. Then manuliplate it. If they scan your PC for bots you can just put Process Guard up. If they check the real target at the time you got Target Repair programs. There is a way i bet but it would be so stupid no one would play FFXI as it would give you no privacy.

Depends. Some Lses have very good programmers and have self made bots. Because of that they own the market they work in. Its because of a skill that they have good claim rates.

Its like motorbike racing. Who if you got skill at driving a motorbike. If it is capped at 50mph you are not going to over take people who are doing 70mph. The person who is ahead of you is because there are some skilled people who make the engine to actually do the sport.

If your one of the people who is making the engine you have some sort of skill. Then you are using it as racer as well (So you have made your bot and then your using it your self). Then that is skill. No denying it. When i camp HNMs i am bottlng it and i just watch movies till it pops i can get a claim 100% of the time at HNMs (But not KA the son of a gun all ways pops max distance away from me). True there is no skill in getting the claim but if you made the program to get the claim then you have used skill.

I mailed every bot I wrote, with source, and description to SE's email and physical mailing addresses.

I mailed my first one in 2004.. it wasn't until early 2005 that I had one that was winning.

SE has no contact channels between NA players and developers, so there is no point. I just do it for the lulz or w/e..

246 people on Fenrir using app right now, so I don't think it is an issue of other linkshells going out and buying app. That ship has sailed.

I like how the two servers I played on are 2 of the 3 top ones for bot usage... Though I had no care to do any HNM after being transferred to Fenrir.

And Ellatrix, from my experience.. These guys aren't going anywhere. We had an LS like this on Unicorn a long time ago and as long as they're getting claims, they'll stick around.

I think stating that you recruited a Galka BLM who fulltime uses Rune Chopper states more about the status of your LS than anything. Also, Devek's answer screams "Yes we sold gil to purchase a high dollar bot for the LS, but the gil/dollar amounts and the name of the bot you said are wrong".
