DRG TP and WS Gear.

This is just a general question.

What is the best gear for DRG TP and WS?

Complete noob question I know, but I have a knack for choosing the wrong gear.

I could use a love torque for tp, and gorgets for ws build. ares body would be nice for tp too. But this is what i have to work with atm. Assault earring would change to ethereal for tp build on /mage.

not when that picture was taken no. I got my valk fork within a week after my drg hit 75. I now have capped merits. I'm just too lazy to take more pictures ad change them ><

Here's what I use, also not exactly 'optimal,' but by and large I'm satisfied.

TP Build. Improvements: Vbelt, Sniper's +1, swap about a Cuch Mantle depending on acc, and trading 2 of my sword merits for the final 2 polearm merits. Dusk/Cerb+1 as well technically, but the others are more within the realm of feasibility.

WS Build. Improvements: Zahak's Mail » Aurum Cuirass (that's Ares' I'm wearing in the SS though), Cuchulain's Mantle.

Homam, Heca, and Askar are good places to start, mixing in Ares' when you can as well.

Ares if you have Valk fork. Otherwise the storeTP on aurum or askar will be needed to shave a hit off 100tp. For WS Z. mail > Aurum.

for WS Z mail vs Aurum is really gonna depend on buffs, the less attack you have the better aurum will do since gives higher avg, since really 3% crit rate vs 15 attack is hard call.

no haste, and very little acc....

ffs DRG CAN NOT get away without acc belt, body, or rings without any homam and/or other pieces that have high acc, do a parse or that acc calculator that was floating around here for awhile (I have a link on my home pc that I may post when I can).
(my thoughts on ACC may be skewed due to my character being an elvaan but it shouldn't change that much)

best AH TP I can think of that is ruffly under 500k per peice

Ares > Aurum > Askar > Zahak > AJ > other I'd say except in places where you need acc from homam.

I'd prefer Aurum + Black Tathlum to Ares + white , imo

With Vork It's Aurum > Ares since you can use Black Tathlum and Sword Grip for a 3% Delay Reduction while maintaining your 6-hit build.

Ares + White Tathlum: 2% DA, +5 ATT, +4 STR

Aurum + Black Tathlum: -3% Delay, +8 DEX, +4 ACC

Even with an Aurum Body, a DRG with a good Haste Build hits at 90% ACC on Mamools. I think it was Jnun who parsed on it on KI.

So yeah, where as my gear isn't as pimp as most of you guys(mainly due to in my first EGLS and I've only been playing the game again for about a year)I could use a LOT of direction on where to go. I tried Allah forums but I should've known better. Nothing 'useful' there outside hearing "ZOMG GET RAJAZ NAO!".

Ammo: Tiphia(Elvaan satchet for WS)
Head: O.hat (Voyager for WS)
Neck: Chiv Chain
Ears: Assault+Fowling
Body: SH
Hands: Dusk (Drachen+1 WS)
Rings: Woodsman (Ruby for WS)
Back: Amemet+1
Waist: Life(Warwolf WS)
Legs: Drachen Brais+1
Feet: Barone

Merits: Polearm 2 so not capped, and it's after I finish Slow2 for RDM before I work on DRG merits.

A) Need to know what to pick-up via AH/NM-wise. Currently not in a EG LS as I'm just meriting myself while waiting on an answer.

B) Currently not doing Nyzul as my Assault group is busy with rank ups and getting the last pieces of gear we need before doing climbs/ranks at the same time.

C) Rajas + Ultham's rings are NOT an option. My RDM is my pride and joy, and it has a Tamas+Balrahn's and I don't intend on switching my Tamas ring out ever.

D) Wouldn't mind a pathway of which is best to upgrade first.

E) Curious for Drakesbane: Potent Belt(+3 STR +8 ACC) vs Warwolf (+5 STR & DEX), which would be better?
