Am I wrong for not wanting to use the M16 or FAL? I love the SCAR more than either of them. I just don't like the feel of those rifles, but I want to unlock everything on them.

Nvm, wrong thread.
Beginning to really fucking hate the HBS in free-for-all. I got into 3 lobbies today before I finally got one that wasn't 6/8 or 7/8 guys all using HBR and camping crouched/prone in a room just waiting. Honestly can't wait until I have Ninja perk unlocked to at least make those matches more fun instead of them ending with a winning scores of 350.
anyone else use Last Stand? I kinda like it
I use HBR but I only camp when I'm anticipating someone getting close. If I get killed by someone using one, I always switch to my ninja built and just start flanking. Always funny when you sneak up on some dudes holding down a building or something not even aware you're standing there.
What's the best set-up / strategy for Favela? Every time i see that map pop up i get shivers then proceed to get my ass handed to me. Worst record was 10-22 in a TD game :/
Most other maps i have got down, but this one still stumps me completely. I've tried Sniper setups and run-n-gun setups and neither seem to work for me.
Any advice would be good...!
Problem with Favela in my experience is everyone uses grenade launchers and its for the same old reason, EVERYONE runs the same way or at least to the same spot, i normally stick to sabotage for a while, and anytime im on that map everyone heads to the stairs which is just litterd with greande launchers/rpg's/sticks it`s epic fun sometimes but then it just gets repetitive
On Favela the only thing I make sure to do is keep moving. There are so many different angles that they can see you if you try and stay stationary that constantly moving is your best option. I'm not saying you have to run-n-gun, but don't stay in the same spot for more than 3 kills.
Best advice I can give for Favela is to use your flashbangs. There's not much open space and in domination each flag can be safely flashbanged from around a corner. It's an easy way to easily wipe out guys capping flags. Remember you can bounce flashbangs/nades off walls, it's useful!
Otherwise, you can get around on the roof pretty easily, having a height advantage is great for picking people off, just remember to give yourself an escape route or cover if you plan to camp for a bit.
Best advice. Veto Favela.
What I do is jump on the roofs and try to clear off anyone on top, scout the windows for a bit, jump off into the building with the barber shop when someone's trying to camp there, take them out then repeat the process hoping no one's seeing me Donkey Kong from building to building.
I don't think it's worth it. Unless it's a sniper map, maybe. Otherwise I think I'd get more kills with Commando than I would with last stand. On top of that, most players don't stop shooting unless A) they die B) they see +50 come up on the screen. If someone goes into last stand it maybe delays their death by a quarter of a second, not nearly enough time to fire back.
And man, I don't care if its noob but I love the heartbeat sensor.
(off-topic post)
Kibble, I love that fucking movie... I laughed again just seeing the sig.
When I'm in Favela I've found the best thing to do is use a high-power weapon or a marathon build and silencers galore. Ninja is your best friend and so is anything that prevents you from being detected. Then you can simply run around the map without anyone ever spotting you.
Also, never stay in the same spot more than a few kills. Someone will know which building you are in/on and come get you. Most of my payback kills are because the guy was too stupid to stop camping the same spot. It doesn't work in Favela. Too dense unless you have a foolproof spot or a HBS.
I guess maybe something like this:
Bling (Pro or normal)
Weapon 1 + Silencer/EOT-RDS, or switch sight for HBS
Weapon 2 + Silencer/Rapid Fire
Cold-Blooded (Pro or normal)
Ninja (Pro or normal)
Painkiller deathstreak
I don't have problems on that map.
Last stand is a deathstreak, so you weren't wrong.
Although I find it hit and miss with Last Stand. Sometimes I fall down with my assault rifle and get right back up. Other times, I pull out a pistol that wasn't even in my inventory.
